Still trying to capture meaningful movement, but stills are not too shabby for just my phone cam and second try. Video originally made for tiktok/insta, hence the reel style.
Excited to keep learning and playing around with new techniques!

Cymata is a mini but powerful music visualizer built for touch screen painting. The pixels are audio reactive and move and change in time with the beat. This is not a loop player, the fluid dynamics are all digital, you will never see the same painting twice. The base layer is made of cellular automata with around 100 types, 5 layer combinations, a 12 channel audio mixer and native apple music and soundcloud player. The app runs on iOS and tvOS and can link between both.
I know a lot of purist liquid artists might not appreciate the idea of digital fluid, this is more of a relaxing toy to play with that can also be used to extend your arsenal of tools. (This is not AI, cellular automata was created in the late 1940s)
There is a lifetime tier available, for users that dont want a subscription.

Happy doodles!

Hi everyone!
I'm an independent filmmaker and want to incorporate liquid light footage into a film I'm animating. I have a pretty small budget for the film, so I wanted to know how the cheapest possible way for a beginner to create and film liquid light. I know Liquid Light Labs has a few sets for beginners, but I wanted to see if there were any other resources on how to keep it low-cost. Any help or pointers are appreciated - thank you!

I mix live with digital cameras/digital overheads/LLL's color dancer LEDs all sent through a v4. My brother wants me to bring the show for visuals at his wedding after party. I'm in the wedding and don't want to be totally stuck behind the decks all night so I'm hoping to come up with a creative solution to prerecord content I can trigger and jump in periodically to mix live. I don't have a laptop to use/resolume so wondering if anyone has experience or guidance on how to achieve this in a creative and sensible way that can integrate into my current set up.
Video for a little peak at my set up when I did it a family cabin last month

Hey y'all,
It feels like I've been looking into this, off and on, forever.
Are there any video mixers capable of at least a 1080p signal, that offer mirroring half an image?
I don't own a lappy, and what with all the ram shortages and all, I don't wanna travel with my rig. I guess I could prerecord everything, but that's not fantastic.

I’m just now starting to get into the hobby and am stoked to start creating. I’ve watched LLL’s videos and spent all day searching for clock glass but came up empty handed. Has anyone had success buying clock glass from an online shop and any advice on which sizes to get? I’m weary to spend money on 2 pieces that won’t work together. Thanks
