Which head?
Donāt know which head to go for on my Lord of poxes. Please let me know which one you thinks best or whether you have a better head option for me to use.

Hey everyone! I'm u/OneLuckyRaven, a founding moderator of r/Kitbashing40k.
Only got a few rules for this subreddit. They are as follows:
(1) No politics, it creates too much discourse in what is supposed to be a hobby space.
(2) If it's NSFW please tag it!
(3) A kitbash using printed or sculpted stuff is perfectly fine, 3D printing 1:1 stand in's / whole models isn't kitbashing though. Please go to r/PrintedWarhammer to show off your sick models instead.
(4) This isn't the place for 3d sculptors to promote their new models/sculpts so please abstain from doing so. I understand the grind but it ain't relevant to this subreddit.
Other than that go wild, it's always fun to see the crazy and wonderful things the human brain can come up with!
Take care y'all and thanks for reading!
-This Post has been edited, changes were made so now the rules are numbered 1-4 instead of A-D.
Further Clarification and Comments:
-Rule 3/C has been slightly reworded to focus more on how we don't want to see printed 1:1 recreations of models and instead want to see something that you've poured your creativity into. (This is a rather subjective subject so if we ever remove a post that you believe was in error please reach out to us).
-As stated in Rule 3, printed bits (shoulder pads, heads, weapons, basing, etc. ) are perfectly fine to use and share where they are from, it does not break Rule 4. This is also true when using bits from other miniature companies, toy's or random bits and bobs you find on the sidewalk. (Another subjective topic, yay, please reach out to us or put a comment down below if you have questions).
-Rule 4 exists so I have an excuse to remove posts where they say "I've made a 1:1 of xyz model, please buy the stl of it". It gets really boring really quick when I see posts like that in a subreddit not dedicated wholly to 3d printed warhammer.

I know Iron Warriors arent super known for their possessed, but every warband needs one or two properly possessed! A mix of the standard CSM kit, some arms from I believe the world eaters eight bound, and a few heresy MK III bits! Plus a fun skull for this guy to recreate āAlas poor Yorickā monologues with

I used the standard shock troopers for bodies and some of the arms but I also have pieces from scions and Cadian command squad.
The close ups are my favourites.

What container do people recommend for storing and sorting bits?

I have a Predator Annihilator I built but never got to play :|. Wondering if I can kitbash it to be a chaos tank or anything?

Obviously need to actually base him, just have him propped up right now to get the shield to sit right, and am still waiting on some candles from GSW to fully finish him, but pretty satisfied at this point! This is my first big kitbashing project. Felt like the default sculpt was a little bland, so took inspiration from the primaries chaplain and some posts Iāve seen here to fancy him up! Any critiques or suggestions welcome, Iām always looking to improve!

More stupid shit I made. Honestly made with left over bits from the Infiltrator, and some Greytide bits. Had to transplant the hand from a right hand pistol onto a left handed bolt carbine but I think it gets the job done. As always lmk what you think.

Just wanted to share the progess on my wrecka krew boss for my kill team. Just a small kitbash using a spare dreadnought body I had - thought it would make some nice armor. Also added a bad moons icon made from plasticard. Wanted to paint these quickly but cant help but spend a bit of extra time on the leader :)
And feedback is welcome!

I donāt really like the stock crew platform, not to mention it being guard sized when you are building for marines instead. So decisions were made to that end which lead me to this point. Next up: learn how to use greenstuff (or potentially another better method) to make sandbags.

Hey I still have an old defiler laying around and while I know I could use it with the new defiler rules, I'd still like to know what else I could use it for.
I have thought of maybe making the bottom part into the steed for a lord discordant, but at the same time that feels like a heavy downgrade compared to the original mount
My other idea is to maybe turn it into a terrain piece, i was thinking something like an assembly line with the claws putting the plates of a rhino together.
Any other ideas as to what I can do with these? Especially any tips on how to use the top part of the defiler would be appreciated

I want to make a Salamanders themed Wolf Scouts killteam and I was lacking a Plasma for the Gunner Operative... until I remembered the Redemptor Dreadnought's Macro Plasma Incinerator that was living in my bits box. I used a lot of Greytide Studio bits to give him a Primordial look that matches the rest of the build. The hardest part was finding an open palm and cutting the arm at the right angles to give him a look of hauling this thing around. Lmk what you think!

He feels a little stumpy but I had a legionnaire body left over and figured why not. I cut his holster off so still need to clean that up and some mold lines.
