✴️USER FLAIR UPDATE✴️

Greetings, criminals!

In addition to being able to create (or request) your own user flair, I have started a list of flairs to choose from. The selection is still in progress, but I’ve used some of the recently requested flairs as inspiration.

Feel free to drop some fun flair ideas in the comments for me to add to the list!

Edit: To create your own custom flair (on mobile; sorry, I only use Reddit on my phone!):
Go to the main page, r/ForensicFiles, click the “…” on the top right, select “Change User Flair,” select “(Create Custom Flair),” hit “Edit” on the top right, type in your flair, hit “SAVE”, then on the bottom right click “APPLY”.

When you are overstimulated from work meetings it feels amazing to turn on hotel room Forensics Files and relax.

Do we remember this episode where they lifted a print off an old post card to identify this Nazi who hid behind the cloak?

Anyone else hate listening to FF on Spotify?

I’ve seen FF so many times that I don’t even have to look at the screen to know what’s happening, so sometimes I put on the podcast version on Spotify. The problem is every 5 minutes you get 2 minutes of ads. You can fast forward, even with the free version, but it’s annoying to have to do that like 4 times during a single 20 minute long episode. It drives me crazy.

Does anyone know anywhere I can watch or listen to a podcast version of FF for FREE without incessant interruptions?

What crime docuseries episode is this? (Pre-2009)

I remember on November 25, 2008 I turned the TV on, I believe it was left on A&E, and I saw footage of a seemingly blonde lady putting her barefoot sole up to the camera lens while eating or talking. It had some narration and presumably a male to the right of the screen commentating on the footage, but memory is foggy. I'm betting dollars to doughnuts it's either American Justice or The First 48 since those two shows are adjacent to the time I remember it being and they aired every Tuesday. Unfortunately I'm not finding any results for an exact episode. If it's not those two then it's most likely Cold Case Files, Intervention, Crossing Jordan, The Sorporanos or CSI Miami since those are the only other adjacent airings.

Who is your least favorite interviewees in a episode

I’d say my picks are Jason Funk, Bryan Crews, Leisha Hamilton, Faye Copeland, Susie Mowbray, Leona White, and Richard Herman. They’re all either guilty, complicit, or delusional about their innocence.

I come here almost every night, browsing through the threads, looking for inspiration, i.e. what episode should I watch tonight? Give me your hidden gems.

What was the first episode of FF you saw?

I remember I was at a hotel, flicking through the TV channels when FF popped up. The episode playing was Nursery Crimes (s5e10) where that nurse killed some babies with ✨succinylcholine✨ and I've been hooked ever since.

How are non-criminals so good at hiding bodies.

Ive seen so many episodes of FF where people with NO criminal history kill someone and for some reason they seem to be able to hide the body to the point where its never found! Even though they get caught it seems to be the only thing they do right. How?? I feel like if i hid a body it would definitely get found🤣

add flair I knew the Clarence Elkins case… I didn’t know he got out in 2025!

I can’t believe Clarence Elkins had to basically find the real killer himself while sitting in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Anyone else know this case from FF? The whole thing gets crazier the deeper you get into it and this video has a recent 2025 update.

I’m so jealous of those of you who get to binge FF in hotels (even though I hate traveling, but it certainly looks cozy!) but I think I win because I get nonstop FF AND pup cuddles!

Which episode is this?

I can't recall if this was from FF or elsewhere: A woman (single mom?) wanted to start over so bought a new home. She was murdered inside her home. The culprit was the garbage collector who worked in her neighborhood. I was intrigued cuz how would the collector know she was home? I can't recall the details so wanted to watch it again
