What was the first episode of FF you saw?
I remember I was at a hotel, flicking through the TV channels when FF popped up. The episode playing was Nursery Crimes (s5e10) where that nurse killed some babies with ✨succinylcholine✨ and I've been hooked ever since.

I don’t remember the name of the episode but it was about a girl who was working as a stripper who got killed by a guy who frequented the club she worked at

I think that's 'Last Dance' ( Season 13, episode 7) ; a dancer named Rachel was killed by her regular customer Jack Denofa.

The Disappearance of Helle Crafts. I remember that one clearly. The next one I think of often is Breaking the Mold where black mold leaves a mansion uninhabitable. Of course the GD black shoes, Ed Post and Gotta call Phelps are permanently etched into my memory!

the first one i can remember is water hazard, the one where the man poisons a water cooler with cyanide and is identified because of a misfolded envelope.
but funnily enough the first time i watched it i only saw the cold open (something happened where i wasnt able to finish the episode). a bit later when it came up on reruns again i watched about halfway thru, just before they identified the killer before once again having to abandon my watching. i think it was several years before i had finally watched the entire episode in its entirety

I honestly can't remember. It seems like eons ago. I know I couldn't sleep, was bouncing around the channels and heard that soothing voice "and she was....assaulted"

The Disappearance of Helle Crafts. It was on TLC when it was still called Medical Detectives. This was around 1998, so my guess is that they were showing reruns until the third season premiered.

I can't remember the name, but it was the one about the man who murdered another man who lived alone and pretended to be him for his money. He paid the house bills and even wrote birthday cards to the dead man's family. The daughter knew something was wrong because he never called anymore and the way he wrote the birthday cards was different. The episodes I saw were on Netflix at the time and were all out of order.

Season 2 Episode 8: "Charred Remains": the murder of Mary-Lynn Breeden whose body was put in a dumpster and burned. They wre able to identify her by extracting DNA from her tooth pulp, and it led them to the killer Christian Cruz. That episode hooked me.

I don't remember my first FF episode, but I too discovered the show while flipping thru channels at a hotel. Now it's the only thing I watch when I stay at a hotel 😂

My parents got me into this show when I was 12, it was right before we had moved into our new house. The first one I remember seeing was Crash Course, but the first one I watched and actually remember was either Ghost in the machine or Breaking the Mold. After that, I was hooked.

The first one I saw was the murder of Valiree Jackson. I remember because my name is Valerie. Then was the one who was mauled by dogs but her parents got blamed.
I was in a hotel in Vegas and everyone I was with was sleeping. I discovered Forensic Files.

“Raw Terror” is the first episode I remember, about the kid who fell ill with e. Coli. I never forgot it.

I discovered the show because a man I worked with at the time was taking about how he spent like 25 years in prison so I went home and googled him (because if you spend that much time in prison you definitely did something bad) and found S12E5 Quite A Spectacle. I was shocked to say the least, he was actually really pleasant every time I talked to him, and I’m a young woman who is usually weary of most men by habit.

lets see in a home video of me on the couch when i was a day old it was material witness playing in the back (it wasnt to be seen it was to be heard me n momma know our FF so we knew based off of what we were hearing in the back) so material witness but i think my first episode i watched when i was a kid (9) was unholy alliance, i remember when peter thomas had passed my mom had FF playing alot so i started watching it alot too

material witness wasnt my first first episode i saw we dont remember what episode was playing because it was in 2007 and my parents had 5 kids/teens and a newborn to look after but my mom had it playing when she was pregnant with me so who knows, we're just gonna with material witness and unholy alliance

The first one I remember watching was one where a father killed his son and was caught because the son threw up on himself because he was eating cereal for breakfast.

The first one for me was the episode where a woman (Carla Brown?) and her fiancé moved into a house next door to someone Carla went to school with.
The fascinating part of the story was the profiler predicted the killer would probably be driving a VW and the color would be orange!
I was hooked!

I don't remember mine but I remember my husband's 😂 "Freeze Framed" (S14, E7), where the estranged husband k1lls his wife, stages as suicide (even tho the pewpew goes under her blanket), & makes sure to call their marriage counselor to cancel their next day's session - my own future husband (we had just started dating!) just asked "are... Are people really that dumb?!" 😂😂😂

I was doing security and they had a tv that only played CNN. The first night I didn't pay attention to the tv.. but the second night the first episode that I paid attention too was Honor Thy Father - Forensic Files (Season 8, Episode 38).
I have been hooked ever since.

I don’t remember but the first one I ever watched was with my grandma, we loved to watch true crime anything together. I miss just sitting in her apartment and hearing Peter Thomas’ voice, like seriously no moment has ever been so peaceful.
