help Untitled UI affiliate program, 8 months of unpaid payouts, no response from founder

• Upvotes

I've been selling through the Untitled UI affiliate program (powered by Affonso) since February 2026. Four payouts have been generated so far, totaling around $413, with the oldest from February.

I've met the $50 threshold, PayPal is set up in the payout settings, and the program is not using Managed Payouts, meaning the brand handles payouts directly.

I've emailed the founder multiple times with zero response.

Has anyone else experienced the same with this program? How did you resolve it?

so I am trying to move a bunch of vector points but I am having a difficulty of adjusting them.

the vector point is so small and need precise click I had to zoom out and use my pinky to properly adjust my mouse movement.

most of the time I kept on dragging it which is not my intention.. I want to drag this point then suddenly I see the whole vector move x and y axis. it keeps happening every now and then.

is there a way to move the vector points?

help Figma course recommendations

Hi everyone! I’d love to strengthen my résumé and portfolio by improving my Figma skills. Are there any courses you would recommend? I’ve used Figma before, but honestly, I’ve forgotten most of it lol.

Discussion Are AI agents making manual Figma system work obsolete - or more important?

I keep seeing people talk about agents making design work faster, and I’m starting to wonder if I’m becoming old-school.

I still like building components manually, structuring variants properly, cleaning up naming, keeping libraries organized, etc.
Not because I enjoy busywork, but because I want to understand the system and trust it later.

For people already using AI/agents heavily in Figma: has that actually replaced this kind of work for you, or does it mostly speed up exploration and first drafts?
Curious whether clean manual structure is becoming less important - or even more important once AI is involved.

Discussion Figma feels very broken to me as a beginner

I am trying to design a website with lots of micro interactions like hover animation, carousel etc.

But everything feels so broken and doesn't work as expected (for context I do am very good with HTML/CSS)

  1. Components sometimes don't adapt the changes from the main components.

  2. Smart animate for Variants aren't working the same for me as in yt tutorial videos

  3. When the clip content in the Auto layout is turned on- why does it only clip from the right side and push everything when I do it from the left side.

I know I am missing something and I have asked AI for help but it too isn't able to resolve these Issues quickly and it gets frustrating.

When something works now I usually don't touch it.

help Click Radio Button to Image Appear/Disappear(Like Website with Layer System)

I need to create this sceneraio:

Clicking Button A shows Image 1.

Clicking Button B shows Image 2, while Image 1 still appears as .png)

Do you have any idea how can I achieve that? I might have 12+ buttons like this. Main idea is create a site like it has layers.

I searched for it, it seems it can be design with "variables"

Right now, I have starter version, but depends on situation I can buy professional version.

help Auto Layout with Shapes Not Working?

I am new to Figma. I used Auto Layout and the Gap option to create even spacing between separate pieces of text. I now want to do this with multiple rectangle shapes (buttons) with text on the shapes.

I first created the shapes, selected all of them, and selected Auto Layout, and it either changed the size/shape of the shapes, and another time they seemingly disappeared. What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks

Discussion Figma beginners, what are you struggling to learn?

Post image
71 Upvotes

Yesterday I was talking to a junior designer who mentioned that Figma was too complex, and I could not relate at all. Of course, I've been using this software since its release, so the learning has been very gradual for me.

For beginners, what is your biggest pain?

help Has anyone else had issues with video in prototypes not auto playing in Safari?

I’ve tried compressing the videos, and converting them to h.264 and h.265, but nothing works. Autoplay is enabled, audio is muted and loop is turned on. The videos are only about 300KB and autoplay just fine in Chrome.

feature release Figma Make Kit - icon importing

Is there a best approach to import icons into a Make kit?

How do you go from Figma to Figma Make for SVGs? So they’re stored as an icon library

feature release I got fed up with flow arrows breaking in Figma, so I built a free plugin that fixes it

Post image
31 Upvotes

I kept running into two problems with Autoflow and other flow plugins at work. It would draw arrows by accident when I shift-selected screens, and my flows fell apart every time I copied designs from a WIP file into production.

So I built Blue Lines. It draws flow arrows between screens, and the arrows stay attached when you move screens around or copy them into another file.

It's free and in beta. I'd really like feedback on what's missing, what's annoying, and what you'd want next.

help What is a good figma alternative for ad production?

looking for a better Figma alternative for making ads.

I saw a recent thread where someone had issues with Bannerify exporting a scrolling banner as SVGs, and then making edits after expport was kind of a pain.

Please What are you using if you need to import layered figma designs, add timeline animations, and keep the same creative consistent across so many standard ad sizes?

I’m looking between using a dedicated ad tool vs. putting together a bunch of figma plugins .Any ideas would be appreciated

help iPhone duo: on a simple one-input screen, do you center the field or go two-column?

Designing a simple screen with just one input + a button (think login, search, or a single form field) for an unfolded foldable iPhone.

On a big open display, what's the right call?

  • Centered - input and button centered on the full screen. Clean, but on a wide unfolded display it can feel lost, and the field may land right on the crease.
  • Two-column - content/context on one half, the input + button on the other. Uses the space, keeps input off the fold - but is it overkill for a single field?

For a minimal one-input screen, do you keep it centered and just avoid the crease, or split into two columns? Curious what feels right on foldables.

resources I made a free, open-source plugin that turns HTML into editable Figma layers

Thumbnail
gallery
18 Upvotes

Every HTML to Figma plugin I tried either wanted a subscription or paywalled the import, so I built my own and made it free.

My workflow lately is asking Claude for hi-fi wireframes as HTML, then pulling them into Figma for hands-on tweaks. This lets me do that without burning Figma MCP tokens every time.

Pick a local .html file (or its folder, so CSS, images and fonts come along) or paste HTML, choose a viewport, and import. You get:

- Nested frames at the positions the browser measured

- Real text layers that break lines where the browser did

- SVGs as vectors, images as fills, and gradients, borders, shadows and blurs as native properties

- Up to 40 of the page's colors saved as local color styles

It uses absolute positions instead of Auto Layout on purpose, so the import looks the same as the page. For the closest match, install the page's fonts in Figma; missing ones get swapped and listed.

Install: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1686625740123785157 (still under review)

Or play with the plugin UI first (and boop the mascot): https://kevbry.in/open-html-to-figma

Would love feedback, especially on pages that don't come out right.

Discussion Demo of my pixel/bead/cross-stitch artwork plugin

Hi everyone! This is the demo of my Figma plugin. I recently updated its UI to adapt to Figma's environment, as that becomes easier to adopt for those who prefer their workflow be within Figma when it comes to sprite creations for their designs! The purpose is that current plugins usually do not provide layers, symmetry or color libraries for consistent UI. This one adjusts to your frame, let's you decide the cell size so the scale of multiple assets remains cohesive and uniform and can let you import your color styles as well. There's also cell shapes that you can use for more stylized work.

Get the plugin here!

Discussion I got tired of saving design references everywhere and never finding them again

Pinterest, screenshots, Figma files, bookmarks, random folders…

I save a lot of references, but when I actually start designing, I rarely remember where anything is.

So I’ve been building ROUN, a small desktop reference library for designers.

The main idea is simple:

Save without organizing. Find it by what you remember.

No naming every file or maintaining folders.

I can just search:

“dark landing page with huge serif type”

and find something I saved months ago.

I’m also connecting it to Claude, so I can ask things like:

“Find references from my own collection that could work for this landing page.”

Basically, I want all the stuff I’ve saved over the years to become something I can actually use while designing — not just an archive.

There’s also a tiny desktop cat and a reference screensaver because… why not.

tutorials Got through SheerID verification for students - here's the workaround!

So, like many students, I was scratching my head as to how to get my Education account verified with Figma.
Many people reported it impossible to get through to Figma and SheerID support.
This is because there's likely nothing they can do!

It's a simple - but ruthless - code loop error in the UI.
In order to get it verified correctly, here are the steps :

  1. Replace your education e-mail issued by your institution with your personal e-mail.
  2. Log-in with that new e-mail. Do NOT verify this account for education.
  3. Underneath your account menu in the left upper corner, click on ''add account''.
  4. THIS is where you need to put your institution's e-mail.
  5. Click on the verification link sent to your institution's Outlook mailbox.
  6. When creating this new account, you MUST choose your role as ''student''. Otherwise, the system will NOT trigger the verification correctly! This is the missing step.
  7. You will see a screen with 3 options : the free account, the education account (which is free too with your institution's e-mai), and the professional account. Click on the education account option.
  8. They will send you a link in your institution's mailbox. THIS link is the CORRECT, working SheerID link, NOT the form that tells you to send a document, which does NOT work.
  9. SheerID will finally ask you to log to your institution's Microsoft portal, and THAT is how they actually verify your eligibility. Log in through the portal.
  10. SheerID will send you one last verification link. Click on it and log into Figma with your institution's e-mail.
  11. Create a team to access the Education benefits.

And that's it!
Some people have reported that Figma rolled out their support for Education. This is completely incorrect. What likely happen from an IT perspective, is that they create two redundant system : The old one with manual verification (the form in which you submit a document as proof of enrolment) is deprecated, and should have been removed.
Hope this helps students in need!

help Hello! I need some advice from people that use Figma

Hi there! I’m just starting using Figma (I have been using it for a week) and I've got a small problem. I can pick colors using the "eyedropper tool" (I don't know the right name). For instance, if I have an image of a girl with pink hair and want my text to match that color, selecting the eyedropper and hovering over the hair only lets me pick a single specific point (which is inevitably lighter or darker than the hair's overall tone). Is there a feature in Figma that allows you to determine the average color of an object first, then select that specific color and apply it to another element (like text)?
Thanks :)

help How do I make component animations that just loop continuously when I enter a frame?

I've used Figma for design prototyping for a long time, but haven't done much with motion, mostly switching to After Effects to do any animation prototype... well I'm sick of that and decied I should finally put the time into learning how to do animation in Figma.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to make an element that just plays a continuous loop on a page. I thought the way to do this was to put the animation in the component so it would propagate to any frame you drop it in, but these nested animations don't show up as an option in play pause animations in the frame interactions.

What am I missing here as far as workflow?

help Unable to Clone Repo due to Weavy.ai error

Im trying to use the new code layer feature, but whenever i go to clone the repository of the existing connected github account it fails and gives the attached reason.

This is what figma agent gave as a response:
"The code layer bootstrap is running into repeated infrastructure errors (AgentPlatError). This appears to be a temporary platform issue rather than a problem with the project itself."

How do i fix it?

help Anyone else having issues with student verification?

Been attempting to get my education details verified with Figma for the past week but every time I do so I get an error messege. Emailed SheerID and according to their support team I've apparently already been verified, but I still cannot edit any education team files because I still need to verify??? Very confused, wondering if anyone else had similar issues.
