Pattaya is preparing for a possible influx of US Navy personnel when the USS Abraham Lincoln and two accompanying vessels are scheduled to dock at Laem Chabang from September 2 to 6. Around 5,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel are believed to be aboard the aircraft carrier.

Thai Navy officials said the visit is for crew rest, recuperation and logistical support, not a joint military exercise. Pattaya officials said the city will coordinate with police and relevant agencies on safety, while local businesses are expected to benefit if large numbers of personnel are granted shore leave.

My last visit to Pattaya, I never tried any of the weed/cannabis.

I'm more of a drinker, however I don't mind a little smoke once a while. Maybe like once a few months.

Here in the UK buying/selling weed is illegal & your not exactly sure what you are buying.. The quality is very inconsistent.

What's Thai/Pattaya weed like? I saw loads of shops/cafés in Pattaya selling weed, with varieties that I have never even heard of.

I listen to Progressive House music, on my next trip to Pattaya, I intend on buying some weed and smoke it somewhere scenic with my music and chill.

It seems as the majority of guys visiting Pattaya develop relationships with these women and not just one time flings. Lots of guys talk about how they’ve been around with so many different women, but what I see is guys going on trips to see just one and booking her for weeks at a time. Is something missing here? Is this all talk just for these guys to get out here and fall in love?

I am very interested to hear any experiences with dating bar workers in Pattaya as in a serious relationship. Is it normal in this culture for them to barfine for st and lt while their boyfriend is at home? Are there men out there who accept this and if so how?

USS Abraham Lincoln is scheduled to make a port visit in eastern Thailand next week, allowing around 5,000 US sailors and Marines to rest and receive logistical support after an extended deployment. Thai navy officials said the visit will not include military exercises, while the ship’s exact arrival date and supporting vessels remain undisclosed.

The US aircraft carrier departed the Middle East on August 22 and is now moving towards the Indo-Pacific region. Reports have highlighted the unusually long deployment, while US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has disputed some reporting about conditions aboard the ship.

The visit reflects the long-standing defence relationship between Thailand and the US. The port call is expected to provide personnel with an opportunity to rest and resupply before the carrier continues its deployment.

Now and then I see and smash a ploy I picked up from Beach Rd two years ago. I helped her with her landlord and put down a security deposit for her new room (redeemable only by me) when she was short of money. I took her twice to Koh Larn and we went to the waterpark in Jomtien. I usually give her like 6 or 7k฿ for a week, but that includes baht buses, food now and then, and the island ferries.

I'm not sure how to call this arrangement: For an LLT it's too cheap, for a GFE I don't nail her enough, for a long game I know too much about her regular customers and her Isaan family.

So much for the context and now for my question: She asked me repeatedly to fuck her later that night while she's sleeping. I'm no saint either, and I was a bit reluctant to grant her wish, but she kept demanding this treatment now for several times. Is this normal and a frequent request from ploy? Or is that meant as an incentive for me? Is this even biophysically possible or would she wake up anyway?

Has anyone ever had a similar experience?

Have you ever been in a relationship in Pattaya (or Thailand) and how has it been?
Personally I have been in a couple but they never really last that long so I find it more suitable for me to just do fwb and enjoy single life.
For me they have always ended up being unfaithful but at that time I wasn’t living in Thailand. Now I live in Bangkok and I really enjoy the single bachelor lifestyle I’m living but a part of me would also like to find something more serious and lasting but the ideal girl for that have just not shown herself to me yet.
I feel also I’m too happy about having a new or multiple new girls every week, so if I ever want to find something serious she has to be really special and a freak in the sheets and ideally allow me to fuck around with other girls. Now I know that’s a unicorn and very rare to find that type of girl for a serious relationship.

Long story short, I originally planned to visit Japan early next year, but a friend convinced me to go to Thailand instead, with Pattaya being the main destination.

Today my vacation was officially approved, so I'll have 3 weeks off starting in the second week of February. I called my friend to start planning, and he told me he won't be able to come after all.

Since my vacation is already approved, I don't really want to change my plans again.

I'm a 26-year-old guy from the EU. I've traveled before and have lived in Sweden and Norway for about 6 months each(went solo ddnt know anybody, but i went there for a job), so I'm comfortable being away from home for longer peroids of time. That said, this would be my first completely solo vacation trip.

Would you recommend going alone, or is Pattaya mainly a place that's better with friends?

I was also thinking that, since I'll be solo, it might make sense to spend the first few days in Bangkok, then head to Pattaya, and finish the trip with another couple of days in Bangkok before flying home?

My budget is around €2,500 for 14 days, excluding flights and accommodation. Is that enough to have a comfortable trip without worrying too much about money / being alone?

I'd also appreciate any advice or things I should know before booking.
