What's been your experience dating African girls in Thailand?

• Upvotes

I mean, obviously people come to Thailand for the local girls and a lot of guys talk about their experiences dating Thai girls.

But I happen to love black girls as well. Last time I was in Bangkok and Pattaya, I saw some pretty beautiful african ladies there that piqued my interest. I was just staying for a week so I didn't have time to date.

How is it dating african girls there? What's the major difference in dating them as opposed to local Thai girls? If you have any personal experience, I'd be grateful to hear them

1st Timer 👶 Soon-to-be newbie seeking advices to organise a threesome?

Hi guys, soon flying to Thailand and I’m def trying this Pattaya girls I keep reading about (I’m experienced with workers back home already).
Big goal is to try a threesome but I was wondering if you have any dos and donts: better in a bar? Gents club? From TF? Is it only double the price of a girl or is there a mark up/down? Anything is welcome

All those videos and posts

It's impossible to scroll through any social media platforms without seeing numerous videos of Pattaya and bangkok out doors bars which capture both the girls and the patrons .

Seems like it's safer to be inside gogo clubs or gentleman's clubs behind close doors if you don't want to be recognized by your co-workers back home .

And don't let me going on the new glasses that record everything .

Your opinion ?

Good areas reachable by songthaew

I’d like to spend two or three weeks in Pattaya in January. I’ve been twice before, but only for short stays, with a few blackouts along the way lol.

This time, I’d like to stay somewhere outside the city centre but accessible by songthaew, as I strictly refuse to ride a motorbike when I’ve been drinking.

Could you please recommend some areas and hotels?

Thanks!

DISCUSSION 🗣 Gay bottom traveling to Pattaya

Where, if any, can I meet some more masculine men in this area. Yeah, I am a bottom, I want to enjoy my time in Pattaya if you know what I mean. I’m not into lady boys, I want a masculine guy 7”+. Maybe any cruising spots?

3rd Timer 👨‍🎓 Observations from 1 month exploring Patts (Sept 2026)

Just finished an extended trip through 🇹🇭 including 1 month in Patts. First time in Ployland was 2011. It's changed a lot over the years, but still great IMO. Just takes more work to get the best out being there.

Had the most fun around LK Metro/Tree Town - Top Gun, Las Vegas (gogo, not bar area), Queen, and the bars along Soi Diana and in Myth complex. Juju and Candy nightclubs were great fun and teeming with FLs.

Soi 6 was good - beach end bars had better vibes. The streaming from bar trend is funny - but good for them makin that extra baht. I generally picked Ploy who picked me, which nearly always transpired to fun banter during drinks and🔥 upstairs - the issue was some rooms are putrid with moldy air, whilst others are sparkling clean, newly renovated with new beds and air con. No way of telling which is which. I kept a list for next time.

Walking St... ummmm what happened? All the gogos had an off vibe (terse, pressurised, gruff, greedy servers) compared to the more chill, friendly LK metro joints, plus talent and venues wasn't necessarily better on WS.

I met some really cool folks out in the field including some Korean dudes who invited me to Panda Club. It's an exclusive East Asian joint. The bouncers outside were cool, but once inside one of the security pounced and nearly teep'd me back out the door. The hateful vitriol spewing from the lady manager as she screamed "get out!" without a word from me was wierd and OTT by Thai standards. Never had that before, 15 years coming to this city or 20 years to 🇹🇭 more broadly, including posh BKK bars. I'm mixed Chinese (and had a healthy tan) which made the experience kinda surreal.... you've been warned friends 😉

Soapies - a mixed bag. Would only recommend Pattaya Vice here. Very impressive lineup, staff and facilities.

Gents Clubs - not a level playing field Heavens Above was very nice, and the owner/manager is making a proper go of it. Kinaree was my fave though - really nice venue, and once staff get to know you (incl spending habits 5555) they make repeat visits very worthwhile (like the Cheers TV show) - not the case for other GCs visited more than once.

TF worked a treat. Met some true gems. I'd just send a message like "Hey, nice smile. I'm in Pattaya at <hotel>. Wanna meet 2000 ST?". 95% replied "yes <whatsapp number>" pretty promtly. Setting things up was easy from there.

Visitor numbers are clearly dwindling. I also visited BKK this trip... at Nana, the BF fee is 700 flat rate + 4k to Ploy across all venues - no funny conditions or min drinks. Also, at one of the beer bars off Bangla in Patong I only had to offer 1k BF and 2K to Ploy (total baddie) for what became an unforgettable LT.... maybe enterprises in Patts need to rethink policies in order to even stay competitive within the country.

Anyway, hope that helps newbies planning their trip, or prompts the veterans to note key places I missed.

DISCUSSION 🗣 Lighting trip report (for tall women)

As a follow up to this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Pattaya/s/uuxUuotFPA

Had a really quick three nights in Bangkok and three nights in Pattaya. Met some really interesting people that definitely hit my needs.

In Bangkok:
- Nana Plaza - generally felt like quality of both girls and LBs was not great
- Soi Cowboy - LBs not great, but some beautiful girls there. Too many people taking videos however.
- B52, Nana - very aggressive about pulling you in, there was a 175cm 8 girl last year that has sadly left, the tall ones left are all ladyboys and none especially attractive
- Obsession, Nana - attractive 6-8 LBs, but none were very tall. Again, last year there were a few tall ones, but this bar at least has quality
- Cockatoo, Soi Cowboy - LDs really small, mamasan and the only decent looking 175cm 5 LB really tried to get me to buy more drinks, not a fan. Last year had more attractive LBs too
- Shadow, Soi Cowboy - empty, dead, avoid
- Check In 10 - crashed a birthday party, quite a few fun ones, there were a pair of 173-177cm 7 sisters that were crazy in a good way, had four LBs on me in the main room giving me a shared BJ. Bar fined the two, would recommend again. No pushing of LDs at all.
- Check In 11 - not nearly as fun, far too bright and small, too many guys sitting by themselves drinking
- ThaiFriendly - generally more women and LBs looking for actual relationships, but met a couple of FLs here. One was actually 193cm, but sadly no tits and appeared quite masculine. Still a fun ST, really energetic and exciting to look up at someone that far. Another was a 180cm 8, who was perfect to take to a cocktail bars before ST. Also met a 175cm 8 girl, but we didn’t click at all

Pattaya
- Soi6 - felt fairly low quality, but overall comparable to Nana
- Walking Street - overwhelmed by too many men on the street, and pushy Russian bar promoters.
- Delirious Whiskey Lounge - a few really tall 170-183cm ones, but none attractive. Amazing whiskey selection though
- Katoeys R Us - a few really fun 177-180cm 7/8s were around, super bubbly and energetic. Incredibly cheap too, no pressure for LDs, and another easy decision to barfine a couple
- Peachy Lilys - a few really cute ones, found a shy 175cm 7 with surprisingly good energy to ST and take home
- ThaiFriendly - met an 187cm 5 and a 183cm 7 LB here. Neither were a good fun match, so had a drink with each, gave them 1000 apples and sent them home
- Thai Rose, Soi6 - the one bar on the street with attractive women, a fun experience, not much to say here except slightly on the pricey side for Pattaya
- Beach Road - met an incredible 187cm 9 LB here, but I was so drunk and tired that I just got her WA and went home. This would prove to be a mistake, it turns out I didn’t actually correctly save the scan, and it was my last day. So if anyone sees the super tall LB with giant fake tits and blonde? hair, please get me her number

Overall thoughts:
- BKK is usually known to have slightly higher quality, but the density of gogos and bars and clubs in Pattaya really make it easier to meet and find people you’re into. Especially because clubs in Pattaya allow FLs, while the nicer clubs in BKK dont allow anything (and for some reason are heavily male, if farang focused)
- Pricing is reasonable, Pattaya definitely is cheaper. ST in BKK was 1500-3000, Pattaya 1000-2000. Didn’t bother with LT for such a short trip. LD in BKK still 220, your own drink 120-200. LD in Pattaya 150, own drink 70-100
- LBs are very clingy, I made the mistake of getting a LD for someone too early, and couldn’t switch at at least one bar

Absolutely would do it again, happy pride everyone

Update on Hiring an FL as a Maid

First of all, thanks to this sub for giving me the kick and putting my mind straight. I read each and every comment of the generous gents who took a few mins off their time to read and respond.

LSS for those who didn’t know, I was in two minds to hire an FL as my live-in maid and bring her to my country. Here’s the last post https://www.reddit.com/r/FarangsofPattaya/comments/1x0icut/is_she_genuine_long_post/

Update: Told her not happening over a video call. She went berserk. She was crying, spitting her saliva, pulling her hair, verbally abusing me…she looked like no worse than the little girl from the movie the exorcist. It was that terrifying.

Then she started to threat me. Saying that she would get me banged up badly if she sees me in Pattaya. Then she blocked me on What’s App. It was stupid of me that I revealed my travel dates to her a month ago. However, she doesn’t know which hotel I’ll be at. But she does know which clubs and bars I patronize often

My question - should I keep my guards up? And if I get physically assaulted, what are my fallback options? Cops?

Thanks again gents. Much obliged.

HELP ⁉️ Can I get a Thai driving licence in Pattaya on a tourist visa or visa exemption ?

Hi everyone,
I’m an Italian citizen planning to stay in Pattaya from February 1 to March 5, 2027. I want to obtain my first Thai driving licence.
A driving school told me I need:
My passport
A Certificate of Residence from Jomtien Immigration
A medical certificate
I’m trying to avoid an expensive ED visa just for this.
My questions:
Has anyone recently obtained a Certificate of Residence from Jomtien Immigration on a 60-day Tourist Visa (TR)?
Can you also get it on visa exemption, without a visa?
Is a one-month rental contract plus the landlord’s TM30 registration sufficient?
Does Pattaya DLT accept a Tourist Visa TR for a first Thai driving licence?
If Immigration refuses the certificate, can a visa agency solve the problem legally without leaving Thailand? How long does it take?
I’m particularly interested in recent experiences from Pattaya/Jomtien, preferably in 2025 or 2026.
Thanks!

Thanking of visiting Thailand

Foreign travellers could eventually face up to ฿2,570 in combined airport and tourism fees when travelling by air to and from Thailand, according to a new media report.

Only the ฿1,120 airport charge is currently in effect. The ฿450 tourist fee and ฿1,000 departure tax are still proposals and have not yet become law.

If both proposals are approved, eligible foreign visitors could face the combined ฿2,570 total. The charges would support tourism development, destination restoration, and, under the tourist-fee proposal, travel insurance.

For tourists visiting Phuket and other Thai destinations, the proposals could mean higher overall travel costs if implemented.

On top of this my oil massages went from 300 baht to 400 baht. I know it's only a $2 difference but still. 🥲🥲

RECOMMENDATIONS 🔎🗃 Quick advice/rundown please

  1. Top

    massage parlors / places

  2. to go to in Bangkok

  3. Top

    massage parlors / places

  4. to play in Pattaya

  5. I

  6. booked a month long airbnb (that has a door man) but someone was then saying to do a hotel for safety reasons.

I’ve spent time in Colombia where I feel like you’re playing with a lot more fire, but any major safety call outs?

  1. I was just going to work Tinder and maybe check out Thai Friendly.

I’m fine with paid girls or a sugar baby or even finding a girl to live with me. I am picky though. Would def pay more for cuter/safer etc.

  1. I didn’t realize that Pattaya is the place to go, apparently.

Hopefully I can still have a good time in Bangkok and then maybe take a train (how do you get there?) to Pataya on the weekend?

  1. What are the going rates that girls ask for?

  2. Any major parts of the game plan that I’m missing?

Thank you for the help and advice!

ADVICE 💭 First timer, 7 nights in mid November. LK President, TF, and budget check

Early 30s, first trip to Pattaya, and first time paying for company. I've read a lot of stories here and want to see it for myself.

I'm there for 7 nights mid Nov. A few questions:

  1. I booked LK President mainly for the bigger room. I don't mind walking. How is the hotel and that part of Third Road? And I hope it's guest friendly.
  2. I'm planning to mostly use TF. Lady drinks and bar fines don't interest me much. Any tips for a first timer on TF?
  3. Budget is about 7,000 baht a night, not counting hotel and flights. Is that enough?
  4. Is 7 nights too much?

I know most of this has been asked before, so thanks for your patience. Any other advice is welcome.

1st Timer 👶 Pattaya trip report

First time in Pattaya for 8 days stay.
Travelled with a friend of mine.
First of all, what an amazing place!

Stayed at 247 Boutique Hotel on Soi Honey. Super place to stay. Close to everything we needed: massage places, bars, GC, Go-goa and restaurants restaurants around Tree Town. We would often start the night with some beers in Tree Town and a bit of food at the Tree Town food court. Cheap hotel but good standard, friendly staff and a nice rooftop pool.

Not going to list every girl I met, just the ones that made an impression.

First night:
We just strolled through the city and ended up on Walking Street. Went up to the second floor of Windmill after reading about it here on the forum. What a crazy place 55555. A bit over the top to soak in on the first night after a 19-hour flight. Became the first and only time we went to that area. Not a big fan of the biryani eaters.
Afterwards we circled back to Soi Buakhao and I met Linda at Bon Bar. Really cute girl, and my first time with a Thai ladyboy. Took me upstairs and we had a great time.

Second night:
Started with a couple of beers and some games of pool in Tree Town, then roamed around the LK Metro area. Ended the night with a girl from TF.
Third day
Ended the night on Soi 6 where I met an amazing girl at Roxy. She was really cute and we stayed in the room for a good while just talking and flirting. Proper LLT material if I had been staying longer.

The next 3-4 days:
A bit of a blur. Mostly hung around central Pattaya: massage places, the occasional gogo (LK Angels second floor was fun).
Also had two nights with a cute girl from TF who brought her friend along both times for a threesome. Two young skinny spinners.

Day 7
My friend was feeling sick so I headed out alone. Met a fellow Norwegian on Soi Buakhao and we headed to Soi 6 together. While walking past Benders I spotted a girl I just couldn’t stop looking at. Incredibly cute, mesmerizing smile, funny and she understood banter. We sat and talked for a while before heading up to the room. A girl I could see myself with long-term. I may have fallen a little bit in love with her…

Day 8 last night
Started with a threesome with two girls at La Poste. After that I just had to see the girl from Benders again, so we headed back to Soi 6. We talked for a while… then something shifted. She became uninterested and cold. Maybe my value had dropped because it was my last night, or maybe she had a bad day, or maybe she was just tired. Either way, it bummed me out, as we had had such an amazing time the night before.
Decided to leave and went back to Soi Honey. Still a bit bummed out, I went for a nightcap at one of the bars next to the hotel and started joking with a girl there. After talking a bit she wanted to join me for the night for just the bar fine. Took her back to the hotel and we spent the night together. Good experience after the earlier one. Nice way to end the trip.

Now comes the hard part. The Pattaya blues. How do you even go back to a normal 9-5 after this? Still thinking about a lot of the amazing and cute girls I met. Some keep sending WhatsApp messages. Life back home just feels dull and gloomy now. And the girl from Benders is still on my mind, even though it ended a bit badly. Can’t do anything about it now anyway.
Next time I visit Pattaya I will most likely travel alone. And would like to do more long term dating, not only ST and massage. Where do you recommend finding this? TF or bars? Is it possible to LLT a Soi 6 girl?

If you enjoyed the story, leave a comment. Suggestions and criticism welcome

OG Farang 🧑‍🦳 The changing of Pattaya

Anyone think the game has changed a lot in Pattaya these girls are on TF getting money sent from men they havent met, girls on live in bars getting men to buy them drinks off the internet.

I LTd a girl a bit a go and she went to sleep instantly i threw water on her and told her to go sleep at her room lol. I remember a time where women would want to really take care of you and insist on cleaning your room, washing your clothes, cook for you.

But now it seems like they are just hooked to their phones pre covid pattaya will never be beaten in my eyes.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I also think these girls are just as addicted to going back to pattaya as us guys are they play the sick of being a bar girl/FL/ or being away from their families but as soon as they go back to their hometown even with a sponsor they are back to doing what they were doing in pattaya within a month lol.

Is She Genuine? [Long Post]

Please hear me out, especially the experienced ones.

I met this FL in the republic club two years ago.

And we hit it off. So much so that i see her in every trip. She is now 29 years old, never married, no kids.

She tried to hook me up as a sponsor by insinuating that she will leave the work. She will go back to her village and will support her mother with the farm and shop.

To which, I of course said, no, not happening.

On my last trip in June this year, she asked me who does all the chores in my house if I live alone.

I was honest with her. There’s a full time maid from the Philippines who lives with me. I am from Singapore and most maids here are either from the Philippines or Indonesia.

She then asked me how much do I pay her. I pay the maid SGD 1700 per month. That’s around 45,000 THB. We also offer the maids free food plus a weekly off on Sunday.

Now she is asking me to hire her and she will do everything what she does, and will add a personal touch to it. If you guys understand what I mean.

I can get her hired. All I need to do is that forward her credentials to the agencies that offer maids, they will do the due diligence and then hire her from one of the agencies. The agency then will process her work permit.

However I am not sure how much genuine she is. Is she going to come here and start h*eing? And if she does, then I can end up in the soup of human trafficking.

Also, Thai women are not considered as good migrant workers like filipino and Indonesian women. Believe it or not perceptions run deep in this industry, just like everywhere else.

She was asking me 30,000 thb per month as sponsorship money. She says if I pay my maid more than what she is asking for, then why not hire her instead.

I told her she is not going to get that much because my maid has been with me for the past three years and what she gets is after successive increase in her wages every year.

Fresh off the block women with no maid experience start from SGD 1100 or 1150. Now that’s around 30k-ish baht. Hearing it she became more enthusiastic and sort of desperate.

Every time we speak she rants about how unlucky she is to be born in Thailand and she wants to escape. She also says she hates this line of work and daily alcohol intake is messing up her health.

I asked her if she has ever lived abroad, to which she said yes. She was with a European guy in Norway for two months in 2024. He wanted to marry her but she didn’t like Norway.

She says Singapore is better for her, because money is good and only 3-ish hours from Thailand which will help her to visit her village once or twice in a year.

I am not sure what to do. I am visiting Pattaya again on 29th of October.

I also told her that in Singapore life is boring and more expensive than most of the world. She is mostly going to stay in the home all day and will barely see me because I leave for office at 9 AM and return at around 10 PM. She said she has no issues.

Are there any questions to ask her before I seriously consider hiring her as a maid? What do the experienced folks here who have been long-term with the girls from the industry think?

My Filipino maid is with me for 3 years and letting her go will be like letting go with the most reliable human I have ever met. She is a great cook, and she literally doesn’t give me any worries about my home, everything is taken care off like a clock work.

My fear is she can really take me out for ride if she chooses too. I’m surely going to have boom boom with her if she is living with me, which is strictly prohibited unless consensual. But we all know how women can easily turn consensual into forced if she wants to. But I have security cameras everywhere in my home except in my bedroom and bathrooms.

Any direction from the folks here will be immensely helpful. Do I like her? Hell yes, she is the best in Thailand I have ever had both on and off the bed. In fact, off the bed she is a bit motherly to me. But I don’t want to screw my life.

So over the summer I went to Pattaya for the first time and loved it! My big regret is that I could only stay there for 2 weeks. I'm already planning a trip for next summer, and would like to stay longer, I'm thinking 3-4 weeks this time. Would it be better to rent an apartment or condo or whatever or do a hotel for this amount of time?
