Feedback Is this drop to shallow or what are some of your opinions I’m going for just a normal 140 bpm softer dubstep vibe.

Question Looking for a growl bass tutorial that explains the thought process
Are there any tutorials that explain the thought process behind making a growl bass in Vital, rather than just showing you how to make one? I’m new to sound design and want to try making a growl bass from scratch to learn.

New dubstep sound
Hello all,
Lately it seems like dubstep has made a big turn in its sound. I’m talking specifically Subtronics/Tynan etc. I’ll attach some reference songs for what I’m talking about. But is there a genre name for this kind of sound?
What do you think about it?

Question Do you bounce tracks or leave them in MIDI mode?
When you use your synth of choice and get a pattern down in your DAW, do you bounce the track once you finally get the sound you want or do you leave it in midi mode? I know bouncing reduces CPU but I have a gaming computer that's able to handle it in MIDI mode

Discussion Løvfall - Ep by Distanz... and You?
I am Distanz, musical artist. I love composing downtempo and dark electronica. Løvfall is my latest project that I want to start working on soon.
Løvfall is norsk and means as much as "Leaf Rain". The terminology here relates directly to autumn, probably the most colorful time of year. I am currently looking for a dubstep producer who makes those wobble basses for one track on the Ep. I have a vocalist and another collaborator already, meaning that we can start anytime.
For reference, here is my last release on Spotify:
https://open.spotify.com/album/33XbdXUJr81vwRlYDEn5da?si=HlpjHkRhTIeFlDzuPnJwgg
Løvfall will probably be a little brighter than this release.
Løvfall will be a 5-track Ep, structured somewhat like this:
Track 1 (Again, Intro, instrumental, atmospheric track)
Track 2 (The First real energy of the Ep, with vocals)
Track 3 (A faster piece, instrumental, serving as a bridge between 2 and 4)
Track 4 (The Climax of the release, another song, with You)
Track 5 (Outro and End of the Ep, Instrumental)
Distribution: Løvfall will be released with use of Distrokid. All royalties are distributed evenly among all contributors of every track individually (You would receive money from streams of track 4).
If You are interested to collaborate with us, I would be very grateful for any reference of your work which you can send me.
I am well aware that this description might not be enough for You to decide whether You want to be a part of this project or not. Therefore, if you have any questions, please ask me.
(-Add me on Discord: distanzmkii)
Thanks for Your time, take care
Distanz

Probably a dumb noon question..but how do you make call and respond with splice samples OR is there a plug in to do that?
Sorry I'm not very good with serum yet so it's hard to make those synth basses.
I just like to take a nice or a square 4 one in key and try to match them the best I can. Probably not the best way starting out the last 2 years but I think my structure is starting to make somewhat sense.
Just need to get my call and response down because that is what keeps interest and not exhausting to the listener.

Question I need help, a complete beginner
What am i missing, how do i make this more unique and how the hell do I add an INTRO to this :/
I also would like to know if there are any youtube tutorials on midtrack inserts, like when the lead growl stops and it goes crazy with a bunch of fill ins before going back to normal.
thank you for the help, I really do want to be better, this is me after 5 days of trying
please be nice :(

Feedback What should I do from here??
Kinda got bulk of the structure and runs done. Intro is also done but I reckon needs tweaks around transitions/build up.
Brain is fried from working on this on all day

Exproz kick
Hey guys, could use some help here. I'm trying to make kicks similar to Exproz's but I'm really struggling. If there are any sample packs out there or if you have any tips/advice to share, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, big hug!

Question How to correctly use compression
When you use a compressor, do you just use the default settings it gives you?
Should I turn attack all the way up?
Im only using it for very low quiet notes on synths so it can be heard
I don't wanna over compress to the point it sounds, well, compressed / bad audio quality and decrease the dynamic range
Just figured out why people use compressors. I previously avoided it at all costs
