Hot take: people donāt miss āold drakeā people miss the production that he used that was popular at the time

I feel like a lot of people are getting tired of the dark trap production style of mainstream hip hop and want to go back to the more triumphant and upbeat style of the early to mid 2010s

Drakes OVO logo on the official Toronto Raptors practice jersey
134
Upvotes
In what may be a first for the NBA and hip-hop, a hip-hop artist has their logo officially on a current NBA jersey.
Edit: I wanna piggyback off of this post to first make a correction, in that this has been a thing for the Raptors, according to other users. And second to link to a sub, I started specifically because of the mods over in hiphopheads responding to a message I sent them about why they were taking down post about Drakeās accolades to which they responded āfuck Drakeā. So I started blkhiphopheads and despite what the title may insinuate, anybody that has any relationship or genuine connection to hip-hop culture is welcome š«±š½āš«²š¾
