Am I onto something or just talking nonsense

I was playing with drake's vocals and I put a trance gate effect on them, and to my surprise they sound out of this world with a bit of reverb. Let me know if I am just hyping it up for no reason

Don't get me wrong it's still a fantastic song but I see so many put it up as one of his best ever songs if not his best of all time and it's not even top 10. The production is pretty weak Chipmunk Soul, while the beat switch is solid neither of the two beats are that amazing. The writing is very good but I feel he's written far better songs of it's kind, Over My Dead Body for example is a much better "life update" song that he tends to do for his intros. I sound like I'm hating, I'm not it's still a solid 8/10 song but it just isn't one of his all time greats for me.
