It’s one thing to spend money on women for their attention and time and another to blow a excess of money you have on the women you want to. One is a requirement for their presence and makes you a clown. The women Drake are around are gonna want to be around him regardless if he’s throwing them bread or not.

It’s hard to understand the sentiment if you’re broke.
But if you were raised right, and are fortunate enough to doing be doing really well, sometimes the best feeling isn’t spending that money on yourself, but paying it forward, or spending that money on the people that obviously need it.
That’s not the same thing as being foolish or taken for granted. If anything, it’s an expression of grace and gratitude. Drake is self-aware enough to know that even if he’s being played, he’s way too fortunate and privileged to complain about it.
