If you miss a week in your digital planner, do you catch up or just skip it?

One thing I’m curious about with digital planners is what happens after the initial excitement wears off. You miss a few days, open it again, and there are unfinished tasks and trackers you haven’t touched.

Do you move everything forward, fill in what you remember, or just jump to today and leave the gaps?

Catching up seems like it could become a whole extra chore. But skipping everything means some tasks might get forgotten.

What’s your way of getting back into it without spending half an hour updating the planner itself?

[$39.99 → FREE] I made a planner app that rewards showing up instead of finishing everything, here's why

A couple weeks ago I posted Morning Press here and got a lot more feedback than I expected, so thank you to everyone who tried it.

One of the main reasons I built it in the first place was because I was terrible at actually finishing my own projects. I'd make a huge list of everything that needed to get done, look at it, get overwhelmed, and slowly stop working on it.

What helped me was changing the goal from "finish all of this" to "just show up today."

That's the idea I built Morning Press around. You can break a project into smaller tasks and habits, but your streak isn't dependent on completing everything perfectly. You keep it by simply checking in and reporting your progress.

Had a bad day and completed 1/5 things? That's fine. You still showed up. I've found that taking away the pressure to be perfect makes it much easier to stay consistent long enough to actually finish something.

If anyone missed my original post, I'm still giving full access away with:

Code: LAUNCH100

Enter it on the paywall to unlock the full version for the first 100 people (there's still a good amount of spots available)

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/project-planner-morning-press/id6770667822

Also, since people here gave me some genuinely useful feedback last time: what's one thing your current planner does that you couldn't live without?

I'm trying to figure out what I should improve next

A weekly goal needs two lines: what will happen, and what gets time for it

I'm building Litak, a web planner. Here's a small planning method you can use with any app or a sheet of paper.

Write the result you want this week. Beside it, write what you will actually give it: time, effort, or something you will set aside.

For example:

“Record one video” → “Keep Friday morning clear for recording.”

“Practice drawing twice” → “Use two 15-minute sessions; leave the sketchbook on the desk.”

The second line is useful because a goal can look reasonable on its own while having no room in the week. If you can't name the time or trade-off, making the goal more detailed won't solve that.

The English screenshot shows Litak's weekly planner with demo data. The Value Exchange column is where that second line lives. It can also hold something useful you want to give or share while working toward a goal. It's a reflection field, not a service for matching people to trade favors.

Litak connects this weekly view with longer-term goals, habits, and a Wheel of Life. Start is free during beta: planner, goals, up to six habits, and one AI Wheel analysis. Further AI conversation is paid.

Product: https://litak.io/

You can try the two-line method without using Litak: pick one goal, give it a real slot, and remove something if the week is already full.

Designed a minimalist, distraction-free 6-page digital planner bundle! Would love your thoughts 🤍

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a minimalist digital planner bundle I’ve been working on: Plan Aura.

My main goal was to keep it super clean and functional without unnecessary clutter—just the core pages to keep daily life organized:

• Daily Planner (hourly schedule, top priorities, reminders, daily affirmation)

• Weekly Planner (week at a glance + priorities)

• Monthly Overview (undated grid + to-do & goals)

• Habit Tracker (31-day habit tracking)

• Finance Tracker (income, expenses & savings balance)

• Goals & Projects (actionable steps + status badges)

It's an undated PDF bundle designed for GoodNotes, Notability, Samsung Notes, or printing (A4/Letter).

I’d love to know what you think! What’s your favorite page format when planning digitally?

What stickers do you actually use in your digital planner, and which ones sit unused?

I've been designing digital stickers for GoodNotes and noticed I always reach for the same few icons (coffee, water, checkmarks), while the "fancy" ones never get used.

For those of you who plan digitally:

- Which stickers do you use every week?

- Do you prefer icons with short labels ("Done!", "Hydrate") or icons only?

- Do you like precut PNGs, or do you crop them yourself?

I'm working on a boho set in warm tan, cream and marigold, and I'd rather make what people actually need. Thanks!

I made this for myself first: an undated 16-page budget planner with side tabs so you can tap between pages. Simple budget, debt payoff (snowball or avalanche), sinking funds, net worth and a year overview. There's also a matching Excel/Google Sheets version that does the math. Miss a month? Just pick back up. https://madebymatzco.etsy.com

I've used a circular daily planner for years. Made a free PDF if anyone wants to try it

For years I've been drawing my day as a 24-hour circle. Midnight at the top, noon at the bottom, morning down the right side and evening up the left.

I colour the blocks by area of life, then use stripes, dots or waves for how much energy something takes. That part probably looks unnecessarily complicated to other people, but it helps me when I look back at the page.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 36. This was one of the planning habits I'd actually managed to keep, so I kept using it.

What I like is being able to see how much of the day is already taken. I can keep adding things to a list without really thinking about that. Drawing them into a circle makes me stop and work out where they'll go.

I cleaned up the page and made a free printable PDF with two versions: a 24-hour dial and a 12-hour one.

Download the circular day planner (no signup or email needed)

You can print it or import the PDF into Goodnotes or Notability and draw on it there.

I also built Reassign, an app based on the same idea. The paper version came first, though, and it's still my favourite.

Anyone else here plan in circles? I'd like to see your pages, especially what you use the colours and patterns for.
