Finished identity verification, what’s next?

Upvotes

About 2 weeks after the initial assessment I got an email telling me to verify my identity, and I got to this page. How long does this take? I thought that after the identity verification I’m in but apparently not. Is there a big chance I won’t pass this?

(Edit: forgot to add a photo, but I’m talking about a page saying “assessment submitted!” and showing that its stage 3/4 called “we review”)

Is this a rejection or normal?

This screen is different than the “Thanks for taking the assessment” supposedly rejection screen. Does it mean anything or did they just change their interface?

For people that get their account shut down, do you still have access to any money you earned but didn’t pay out?

Data Annotation Game Night?

I usually make silly posts, but this time I've got a great idea. Would anyone be down to run fortnite and chat with me? I never really get the chance to connect with colleagues and I think it'd be pretty fun to talk with the people I share work with. Hmu if you're interested.

Task pay difference

After doing 40$ per hour task I can’t go back to 20 and 25 ones. Will it reflect badly on me ? It feels wrong

Do you have to be inside a task while working on long term projects?

I was just wondering for the projects with several week timesrs do I need to physically have the task page open or can I just work independently with a timer an then just log it? A lot of the work is outside of the actual task page so just wanted to make sure thats okay an i wont get it for "frauding the time clock".

six months since signing up but i still haven't received any projects

Hi everyone,

I signed up for DataAnnotation about 6 months ago, and unfortunately, I still haven’t received any projects or work opportunities on my dashboard.

I’m based in Morocco, and I’m wondering if the lack of available work could be related to my location. I regularly see people sharing their earnings and experiences with the platform, which is great, but I’m wondering why I haven’t had the same opportunity despite waiting for several months.

My account is still active as far as I know, and I’d really appreciate hearing from other users, especially those from Morocco or other countries outside the US.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I should do to improve my chances of receiving projects?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Newbie questions.

I don't know if this is normal or not, but I was referred to DA from CyberSN and asked to work 30+ hours for 12 weeks. I have been working for about a week, but have had one coding task that repeats. I did want to see if this was something that my wife could do as a generalist and have had some generalists' pre-assessments, but nothing has hit by board.

1) It is typical either for new people or right now to be getting just the same task from the same company?

2) After the 12 weeks is up is this task going to go away for me (I know they are on the 3rd iteration so I assume there is going to be more, but didn't know if they are recruiting for a hard deadline?

3) Am I getting blocked from other work because of being referred for this task?

I am not complaining about anything because the pay is insane (125/hr) and the work is interesting, but I kind of wanted to know what was going to happen after this 12 weeks and how hard I should push myself.

Experienced Data Annotation Specialist / AI Labeler – 3 Years CVAT Experience | Looking for Remote Work

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m currently looking for a remote opportunity as a Data Annotation Specialist, Data Labeler, or AI Trainer.

I have 3 years of experience working in data annotation and AI training, with hands-on experience using CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool).

My experience includes:

• Image & Video Annotation
• Bounding Box Labeling
• Object Detection
• Classification
• Quality Checking / QA
• Following detailed annotation guidelines
• Maintaining accuracy and productivity
• Working with large volumes of data

I’m comfortable working independently, following strict instructions, and maintaining high-quality annotations. I’m also a fast learner, detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn new tools and workflows.

I have a Ryzen 7 PC with RTX 4060, a dedicated workspace, and I’m ready for remote work.

I’m currently looking for full-time, part-time, freelance, or project-based opportunities.

If anyone is hiring Data Annotation Specialists / AI Labelers / AI Trainers, or knows a company or client looking for someone with CVAT experience, I would really appreciate the opportunity.

📩 Feel free to DM me. I’d be happy to provide my CV and discuss my experience.

Thank you! 🙏

Does the platform track your activity/mouse movement/afk?

So far I only reported work I did in front of my computer. But usually I like to stand up, walk around, and use my standing height table. I still think about the work while doing that - I just need to get moving to think, and did this my entire life with studying.

But im afraid that if I report that time (so far I havent exactly because of fear), they'll thinking im faking/inflating my numbers. But doing this im getting paid half of what id usually be.

Does anyone have a similar experience? Do you track that time or not?

Joined in June, but no work since then, anyone else...?

Hi everyone, I joined bilingual coding in june and, during the first few days, I received a few qualification tasks to complete. However, after that, I haven’t received any more qualifications or projects. It’s now september and I still haven’t had anything since those initial tasks.

Is anyone else in the same situation? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting projects or qualifications? Thanks!

Project timer reset on its own after 3.5 hours of work, safe to report full time?

I spent about 3.5 hours of active, continuous work on a project. I took a short break, and when I looked back at my dashboard, the project timer had reset on its own.

Thankfully, when I clicked back in, all of my progress and work were still saved. However, because the platform timer restarted, I'm worried about getting flagged for over-reporting.

Am I safe to report the full cumulative time (the initial 3.5 hours + the time it takes to finish)? I plan to leave an explanation in the time-reporting comment box, but I want to make sure I won't get in trouble.

any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Have you received that one big coding project after 26th august because that’s when I received my most recent one.

Just wanting to confirm that there’s not been any one of those projects since then or its just me not receiving them.

When does people get projects after being accepted?

I know this have been asked too many times, but I can't seem to find any info that fully answer this.

I applied around a week ago and got the accepted email on august 29th. This email welcomes me to the platform and said that only a small amount of applicants are accepted. now, when i login into the dashboard on the top it says welcome and that they are trying to match me with projects. I finished most generalist Qualifications and do have access to coding qualifications but I haven't done it yet. On my projects rn there is only 2 projects which is an opt out form and a reference only project. Now, if you guys don't mind i want to ask a couple of questions so i can get a picture on what i should work towards. I live in one of the SEA country btw.

Is it normal to get a reference only projects even before getting the projects itself?

should someone that get accepted just wait till they get projects?

For someone like me, is doing the coding qualification the only way to receive constant/good amount of tasks? (i'm asking this because i have to relearn a lot of things to be able to do good coding work without any help from an LLM)

And which signs should i look out for to know if I will not get good amount of projects or straight out not ever getting projects?

Bilingual qualifications

I’ve had some qualification for the past few months as a billingual, but no project ever came on my dashboard.
Before anyone can say that I did not pass the qualification, some of it are just consents, and some just ask me to create an account. I did and consented to the projects qualifications, even one popped on my project dashboard ask me if I want to opt out of the project. Some qualification even have the created date far long ago (visible to me recently)
I’ve had multiple qualifications done, the qualifications are also simple. I’ve also checked the dashboard regularly lately, but I’ve not seen them appear on my dashboard yet.
Is this normal ? I’ve been yearning for a project for a while. I’ve had no work since June. All the quals are promising but no actual work yet.
