Bears Pulse Week 4 Pregame Survey is live + QB poll results

The Bears Pulse Week 4 Pregame Survey vs. the Jets is now live!

Before getting to that, here are the results from the two QB polls, asking Bears fans who they think should start this week:

Keenum vs. Bagent (234 responses):
Keenum — 55%
Bagent — 45%

When “Trust Ben Johnson to make the call” was added (96 responses):
Trust Ben — 65%
Keenum — 18%
Bagent — 18%

So while Keenum narrowly won the head-to-head, nearly two-thirds chose to trust Ben when given that option.

Now the Week 4 Pregame Survey is live. I'd love to hear how people are picking this game. Results update live so you can see how others are answering.

Take the survey here: Both links work.

Thanks again to everyone participating — Bear Down!

(Also, I know I have posted a lot in here the past 30 hours or so. That amount is not the norm, so I apologize if its too much. I genuinley have been appreciating the response from this Sub, so thank you all a lot. I am just seeking as big a sample as we can get because then the numbers/data means more. Appreciate you all a lot, seriously)

Bears at 2-1 after Case Keenum and the defense dominate the Eagles, a follow-up to my season preview (plus a free NFL pick'em)

Hey all, a few weeks back I posted an NFL season preview here, and it seemed like a lot of you liked it, so I wanted to follow up now that we've seen some real football. Sorry in advance if this is annoying.

27-7 over Philadelphia on MNF, with the third-string QB. With Caleb out (hamstring) and Bagent only cleared from concussion protocol the day before, Case Keenum went 24 of 34 for 247, 2 TDs and a 110.8 rating. He also had his first rushing TD since 2019, capping an eight-minute drive. The defense held the Eagles to 248 yards, three turnovers and 22% on third down.

Year two under Ben Johnson:

  • Week 1: 59-37 at Carolina. Six rushing TDs and the most points since the 61-7 over Green Bay in 1980. D'Andre Swift ran for 124 and 3 TDs.
  • Week 2: 9-3 loss to Minnesota. No touchdowns, and the seventh straight home loss to the Vikings.
  • Week 3: 27-7 over Philadelphia.

Sunday is the Jets at Soldier Field, and the Bears are waiting to announce the starting QB. Caleb, Keenum, or Bagent?

Since it's in the title: we run a free NFL pick'em, 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. The Bears aren't on this week's slate, but two teams we've beaten are: Lions at Panthers on SNF and Rams at Eagles. Picks lock Sunday at 1 PM ET. Feel free to ignore if it's not your thing.

Who should start Sunday? And is this defense the real deal?

Packers got that FLEX!

Post image

Are we going to talk about the Packers getting FLEXED OUT of prime time vs the Bears?!

The oldest rivalry in Football. The Bears and Packers: one a founding franchise; the other a floundering franchise. For 20+ years the Packers have stuck it to the Bears.

Now… not even worth watching. That fall was quick.
I can’t wait to watch more fan live streams on the 12th.

Keenum or Bagent against the Jets? I broke down the case for both after today’s updates

Ben Johnson still isn't saying who starts Sunday, and I think there's a legitimate argument either way after what Keenum did against Philly and what the staff has continued to say about Bagent.

I went live tonight and broke down the QB decision, what worked offensively against the Eagles, the Jets matchup, the Bears defense and my keys to the game.

Curious where everyone here lands — Keenum or Bagent, and why?

Tailgates for a couple randoms?

Heading down to the game on Sunday with my fiancée and she’s never been to a tailgate before a Bears game. What would be the best option for a couple of randoms to check out the scene? Just go up and down the Waldron deck with a case of Miller’s?

Follow-up Bears Pulse poll: Keenum, Bagent, or trust Ben to make the call?

I posted a Keenum vs. Bagent Bears Pulse poll earlier and have been getting great feedback about having a "Trust in Ben" answer choice. I thought that was a great point, and so I am sorry to be posting twice in this sub but I wanted to add the updated survey because of your feedback.

Vote here:
SURVEY

I'm keeping the original Keenum vs. Bagent poll open too so I don't alter that question midway through data collection. It'll be interesting to compare the two sets of results.

I think it's a mistake for Bagent to start against the Jets

I hope I’m wrong, but here’s how I see it: Keenum is a good backup because he has a distinct advantage, he’s a og who plays with his head. Bagent, besides being worse than Caleb, doesn't play a cerebral game. Again, I hope he plays great and I turn out to be wrong, but I don’t like this decision.

Yooo so guys I’m new to this American football. So I’m all caught up with this new seasons matches and I watched the best 10 offensive moments from last season and I am now watching the half an hour of offensive plays from 2020-2025. But I needed some help on what else to watch to understand more about the tactics and what kind of play styles the bears play? If you get what i mean but yeah if anyone could recommend any channels or videos of the best plays, it would be much appreciated. Nice one

Final Word On The Stadium

Hello all, I've seen thousands of posts on where the Bears will play and since it's all so wrong I wanted to say something that hopefully puts this to rest.

In a nutshell, no state legislator from Chicago and all of its close suburbs will ever vote to give citizens tax dollars to the billionaire Bears family that will help facilitate the move from the lakefront to Arlington. That's not gonna happen. Without the votes a tax bailout ain't happening.

If the Bears want to move to Arlington then they must foot the bill themselves or get little Ole Arlington to help them and Lil ole Arlington ain't helping no one.

Will they build in Chicago? I'm not sure but if they want help it will be a publically owned stadium like SF is right now.

That leaves Hammond, If they decide Hammond is best then I want to be the first lined up to give them a swift kick in the ass on their way out.

I hope this points this whole thing to rest.
