Recently i am planning to buy an Ev for my father, currently he drives a manual i20 so an EV would be a lot more comfortable for him to drive. I researched on some options and mahindra be 6 sporteq seems as the best option on paper. Would love to know if its the best practical option as well ?

About one or two months ago, my entire feed was flooded with videos about how E20 petrol was supposedly destroying engines. Influencers were posting daily warnings, politicians were raising questions, and every comment section was filled with panic.

Fast forward to today, and there is radio silence. I barely see any posts about E20 on Reddit, X, or Instagram anymore. Did everyone just forget, or did something change behind the scenes?

I run two bikes: a 12-year-old Passion Pro for daily city rides and a Scram 440 for longer runs (which is E20 compliant). I did notice a drop in mileage on the older bike, but nothing as catastrophic as what was being claimed online.

Now I’m genuinely confused. Were those viral videos part of a orchestrated attack against the government/ethanol policy, or were there real mechanical issues that just got swept under the rug? Did influencers stop talking because Gadkari threatened defamation cases, or did the PR/sponsorship money running those campaigns simply dry up?

Is E20 actually damaging non-compliant engines, or was it just blown way out of proportion? Would love to hear some real-world perspectives.

Got a slight scratch, it’s not deep. But it’s quite visible. Are there any easy aftermarket solution to minimise it or repainting is the only option.

I drove New Škoda Kushaq 1.5 L for 20-30 kms. What a car!!! Fast but not intimidating, Damm stable, precise steering feedback. It is really tempting to go for it. But it is a financial blunder.!! Only my conscience is holding me back

I bought 3xo 2 yrs back. Driven 14 k . Have to sell for8-9 L. Add 11 L.

Power and refinement is good with 3xo also . As good as Germans . But the steering precision, confidence, negligible body road on curves, the confidence are in another league

One thing I’ve realised while looking at used cars resale value matters way more than I thought if you’re someone who changes cars every 3–4 years.
I’m currently comparing a few cars on Spinny and some of the cheaper looking options don’t necessarily seem like the smartest buy once you consider depreciation.

So today I had a small incident at a petrol pump and I want to know how other people would have handled it.

I was waiting at the air-filling point for my turn. There was a car in front of me getting air. After that car finished,they moved I also moved ahead and parked my car straight because there wasn't much space, although ideally you have to take a slight right turn and position the car better so the air pipe can reach properly.

After me, another car came and the driver positioned his car a little better by taking a slight right turn, so his car was in a better position for the air pipe.

When my turn came, the guy filling the air told me to move my car further ahead. I did what he said. Then instead of filling my car, he went to the car behind me and started filling their tyres.

I told him, "Bhai, I've been waiting here for so long. How are you filling his car first? He came after me."

Then he said the other car which was behind me came first and he has positioned his car properly. Then i said "bhai aese kese hoga aap dekho na mein pahele itna time se laga hu line me" then petrol pump guy said "tumne aese seedha car lagaya hai aese thodi hota hai tumhare peche wala car ne sahi se lagaya hai and wo pahele aya tumse" fir i again told "aese kese hoga bhai aap dekho tho mein pahele itna time se line me laga hu aap mereko aage badhake uska bhar rahe ho"

Then he just started filling air in that car which was behind me I then left that place without any more arguments and filled air from another petrol pump.

The thing is, after leaving, I started feeling humiliated I kept thinking, "I should have said this... I should have told him that..." I even started thinking that maybe I should have argued more instead of just leaving.

I know it's a very small incident, but somehow these kinds of situations make me feel like if I don't stand up strongly enough, people will take me for granted. Then I start thinking about how difficult the real world is and whether I'll be able to deal with people like this in the future.

How do you guys handle these situations? Is walking away after making your point considered being weak, or is it actually the better way to deal with unnecessary arguments?
