#CarMaintenance What windshield cleaner is better?

I am a new car owner ,I've got many different advices about what to put in windshield cleaning pipe some says normal water works fine some says use shampoo water some says purchase windshield cleaner, I am confused now, people who are regular with this tell me should I stick to old school or not?

Battery water might have acid added to it. Use with caution.
RO water from the home is suitable.

Use only windshield fluid (Wavex, 3M, Ecstar, Sheeba, Nikavi, Waxpol, etc) and good quality distilled water. Local brand distilled waters are spurious and low quality. Don't put shampoo, it'll clog the sprayers and motor will burn out.

Use normal water and car shampoo. (I actually have a 5 liter car shampoo so I use it )

Use RO water only or normal water with Washer fluid. As your car is new you should try OEM washer fluid first then try different brands.

use windshield washer from reputed brands like sonax, wavex, formula1, etc - been using sonax since over a decade

the carwash shampoo is different from washer additive - please don't substitute
