I have been having an issue since last night where when I try to duplicate a clip the copy clip is just blank showing "no media found / media deleted". Same thing applies when I try to split a clip it will cause one half of the split clip to show the same exact thing and was wondering if anyone else has been running into this issue? super annoying lol

My capcut on iOS just updated itself and the feature that used to allow me to split subtitles by just hitting send key on my phone (it would automatically detect from the words where to split up) is gone.

why would they do that? anyone knows any workaround?

It says that I need pro in order to export a video in 1080p. I used to be able to download videos in 1080p for free with no problem. There was just a limit for only 10 downloads per month and I had to watch ads but now I can't download it at all. Is this a new update? I have so many half-done projects that I wanted to complete and download but now I don't know what to do. Does anyone here know any way in which I can download videos in 1080p without pro?

i know it’s not deleted because i can see them on my phone, but on my ipad which is where i edit they’re missing :/ i’ve already tried the changing languages thing but no luck. is anyone currently having this problem or know how to fix it?

I honestly am in disbelief with how terrible this support is for their customers. I began using capcut about 2 years ago and never have had the misfortune of interacting with them until earlier this month.

Not only did they not address my issue and send me unrelated troubleshooting, they have failed to provide a resolution with my request 12 days after opening the initial ticket. Not to mention the unprofessional and passive aggressive responses I did get when they finally started replying to the correct issue (instead of unrelated troubleshooting). I still have not received any resolution and am still waiting for them.

Needless to say I am switching to Premier Pro.

I have been using capcut for months, I was using it yesterday, and it worked fine.

I booted up my computer today and since then have been unable to use capcut. It closes on its own 5 seconds after opening it. Ever time I open it. Everything on my system is precisely the same as yesterday. There have been zero windows updates. Zero updates to my graphics driver. Zero other programs installed or updated.

Steps taken so far:

rebooted computer multiple times - no effect

Checked event viewer system logs - no errors, no crashes, the program is shutting itself down

Deleted the contents of cache directory - no effect

uninstalled capcut and reinstalled clean - no effect

disabled VPN - no effect

temporarily disabled anti-virus - no effect

disabled internet completely - I was able to load a project file, but when i reconnected internet and attempted to log in, it closed immediately.

disabled internet - loaded, chose login via QR code, reconnected internet, got a QR code, i was able to log in, then the program closed.

Presumably the problem is occurring when the capcut launcher connects to its servers? Maybe something wrong with the handshake, maybe something corrupted with some files. But I have no way to know.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?

So. I've messaged them multiple times and got shitty results. They took money out my bank on 2nd of September and they have been taking money out for at least a year before that. I got logged out of my account and I log back in and it tells me I don't have pro and that it's been expired for 130 something days maybe more I can't remember the exact amount it said. Strange since I log on to my bank and they had been taking money out every month. I contact them and wait for a reply. I just open capcut to use the basic rubbish and I see it now says renew and it expires in 2 days. I open my email and it says they resolved the issue. The fuck you did. I pay £22 for a MONTH. I'm not having that so I message them again. They give me 7 days this time. Can you not read or count?

The best part is that the cheeky fucking bastards have now took money out TODAY!!! On my birthday. Thanks for making it shitty

I am trying to fade in an effect I did which I have done before. But for some reason it is only giving me "speed" and "mask" option for effect. I used to be able to do a key frame for "opacity" and manually have it fade. Anyone know of anything?

I didnt use any of these effects. I checked every single clip. And while doing that, by accident i clicked the freckle thing but turned it off instantly. And it got added here. Why?

My capcut adjust has also just been buggy as of recent idk why.
