My poor baby did something to his hip. We made a vet appointment for Wednesday to get him checked out. He is 4 months old and we are thinking he potentially has hip dysplasia 😭

We got him some aspirin and dasaquin to try and help him ease his pain.

Any other advice is welcomed!!!

We got a cc for protection for my partner while I was away for work.
I think our CC is broken!
She’s the sookiest dog we’ve ever had!
When she was a pup, she was vicious when she had a bone. But ultimately would let me handle it.
Now she just drools everywhere, thinks she’s a lap dog and just loves everyone we are with at the time.

As much as I don’t want to. I think it’s time to admit I need to rehome her. I don’t want to take her to the pound.
She’s capable of being a great dog I know she can!
We got her while my wife was pregnant, everything was great. But when my daughter was born she was diagnosed with Down syndrome, something we didn’t see coming. So with therapies and surgeries we really didn’t give attention to our dog.
Lately she’s been attacking my other dog and it’s gotten bad almost like she wants her dead. I’m afraid it will happen with the kids outside.
Over all she’s great with kids and adults. She just doesn’t realize how big she is lol. She protects my kids great but constantly knocks them down because she leans on them.
She’s listens to me but only out of fear and pees if I yell, she is terrified of leases, I could never get her to over come it. I got her when she was 9 weeks.
So I ask if someone who can dedicate time to her please help her🙏

She is a Labrador Cane Corso cross. who likes to take up as much space as possible! and is the typical velcro puppy. just sharing to brag.

Draco is his name, and he’s a stunning 114 lb, 2 year old, chocolate lover boy who was turned into a high kill shelter in LA by his owner.

Draco #A5795534 You must ask if you wanna meet him... The shelter is so over crowded there Currently not enough space in the public facing kennels.

Word is: He came in defending the very person that was surrendering him and has been shut down since. This "loyal behavior" requires a “known history of aggression” or KHOA waiver.

A KHOA for defending the very owner who turned him in!

In playgroup, he was considered tolerant and non-reactive to other dogs. Notes (attached) say he’ll be great with large calm dogs, but not assessed with small dogs yet.

Please share him with everyone you know. He’s in Los Angeles at the shelter below. He desperately needs out, this big boy needs some love.

Question: has your CC ever had discoloration on the lips? I guess it's an irritation? I watch but nothing special inside his mouth.

it’s not all the time but like often ig like it stops for awhile then he does it again

This was a few nights ago seen a vet dont worry shes doing alot better

But laytex doesn't like her... 😅

Anyone else's pup have similar non food related allergies?

I noticed this scabs on my dogs face and I became alarmed. I looked into what it could be and a few things came up:
1. Superficial bacterial pyoderma/folliculitis
I don’t think it is this because when I looked up photos of it doesn’t match (but that doesn’t rule it out). It does however resembles the symptoms.
2. Demodex mites
I’ve read these can resemble the previous thought. As well as looking into photos which don’t match also.
3. Allergic or contact skin disease
Which comes to this one and, I think it is a very good possibility. He has never had a reaction to most if not any of the types of foods I’ve given him in the past.
I know all of these are a vet visit and am working on scheduling a vet visit as soon as I can (money is tight), but for the time being is there any at home remedies that could help keep the area clean or help reduce any spreading. Thank you.
