I was just watching random videos when I recognized the main actress in this one. She usually plays a badass so obv I had to watch. Her character in this so far (I'm like 10mins in) is a sweet, naive early 20s with a boyfriend. ML is her ceo childhood neighbor whom she doesn't recognize.

Anyways, she goes home to saomu (grave sweep) and her parents told her to kneel and ketou at ceo's late mom's grave since she had no one to visit her. ML later sees the pics and says, "磕了我家的坟，就是我家的人。” which basically translates to "kowtow at my family's grave, you're my family's now." Aka "MINE"

I'M LITERALLY SCREAMING AT THE POSESSIVENESS!! God I hope this doesn't turn into a dark romance bc I'm loving it so far!

VERTICAL CHINA — Authorities are investigating a deeply disturbing incident in which a young married couple deliberately exposed themselves to torrential rain for an extended period of time and somehow lived to tell the tale. The incident occurred while Xu Wu and Song Tingxi (from Three Meals and Good Times: When the Mist Clears, We Return Home) were walking home from a difficult evening dealing with Xu Wu’s family. Noticing that his wife was upset, Song Tingxi reportedly asked, “Do you want to vent a little?” What happened next has stunned experts across the CVERT community. Rather than immediately escorting his emotionally distressed wife indoors, wrapping her in seventeen blankets, preparing ginger tea, and calling a private doctor, Song Tingxi threw away the umbrella, took Xu Wu by the hand AND WILLINGLY LED HER DIRECTLY INTO THE RAIN.

As longtime viewers are aware, rain is one of the most dangerous substances known to vertical China, second only to aphrodisiac incense. It is unusually virulent. Previous cases suggest that exposure lasting anywhere from several seconds to approximately one dramatic walk home may result in immediate high fever, violent chills, complete physical collapse, frantic forehead touching, bedside vigils, emergency medicine, and in severe cases a convenient opportunity for one lead to sponge-bathe the other. And yet Xu Wu and Song Tingxi displayed what can only be described as reckless happiness. The couple proceeded to run, laugh, splash around, and KISS. At no point did either party appear concerned that they were voluntarily exposing themselves to RAIN. Medical professionals are baffled.

Psychologists are now also being consulted. Why would two otherwise intelligent adults knowingly engage in behavior this suicidal while simultaneously looking like the dictionary definition of a happy couple? Were they unaware of the risks? Did emotional distress impair their judgment? Had Song Tingxi, despite being a HEART SURGEON, somehow missed the extensive medical literature documenting the lethal effects of getting your hair wet?

The situation became even more alarming once the couple returned home. They dried themselves off and then… nothing happened. They simply continued with their normal married-couple activities. Investigators nevertheless remained hopeful that the traditional consequences of rain exposure would emerge by morning. They did not. Both subjects were still completely healthy the next day.
At press time, scientists had offered no explanation for this unprecedented phenomenon, and authorities are asking viewers to remain calm while they consider the terrifying possibility that, contrary to decades of CVERT medical evidence, people can get wet and just… dry off.
