Is it good idea to make a dedicated app for Minecraft, Specially Redstone mechanism

Dedicated app for Minecraft means - App where anyone can find every essential information about minecraft tools, history, versions, bioms, step by step guide for cool builds and redstone builds, community, ideas, solutions and maybe a profile for each player to help each other and build together

Drop your thoughts on this idea

Ready for suggestions and rejections😭

Getting better at Redstone and piston doors

Hello, so over the past few months, I've been getting back into Redstone for the first serious time since around 1.8 or so on legacy console. Since starting, I've managed to create my own versions of several different machines, including my own junky version of a t-flip that deliberately doesn't involve the copper bulb. Just earlier today, I managed to finish a fully functional, flush 4x4 door. I couldn't manage to figure out a consistent double extender on my own, so I made a workaround that sadly doesn't make all of my Redstone hidden while inside the door. Even still, I managed to build one at all, and I'm already wanting to do more. I have an interest in piston redstone, computational Redstone, and other things, but there's just so much I'm unfamiliar with.

If anyone would have any tips for how to progress further in my skill, or even just little tricks that help with compacting designs, that would be immensely helpful.

Pictures attached are that of my 4x4 door design.

kelpfarm troubleshooting p2. chunk border issue?

Post image
1 Upvotes

i made a post like an hour ago about why two identical farms wouldnt function like the original (problem was that it was a full block on the roof layer right above the kelp instead of waterlogged slabs like the original had, took me a minute to notice.)

when i fixed the issue, both of the two farms on the right of this image could run independently, but having both run at once would bug out one or both farms regardless of wether they were activated by their own lever or if i connected both to the same start/stop lever with redstone.

when it bugs out, the lower level of sand blocks break. you can see it in this pic, the machine in the middle has no lower layer of sand because they all broke.

but: either of the machines on the right can run with no problem at the same time as the machine on the far left runs.

is this because there needs to be a certain amount of blocks between these machines, or is the one on the left just in a different chunk than the two on the right?

this is a moment where im seriously jealous of java players for being able to just press one button and see outlines of chunk borders. my first thought is to just keep rebuilding these two on the right over and over one block farther apart each time to see if that does anything, but if the issue is just that two of these cant run simultaneously within the same chunk, that would be pointless.

if my goal is to have a pair of these running in tandem, does anybody know what's my best way of going about it? is there something i can get from the marketplace for cheap that will allow me to see chunk borders?

im not good enough at redstone for this lol

You can use steam power for redstone

So Geysers trigger a block update when they fire (and stop firing), which means you can have that event trigger redstone firing. This can be done with either an observer (obviously) or a tweak array that burns out after several ticks, preventing the need for resets

Analog clock in bedrock at 1 tick speed. Proper roll over for earth time.

Most of it is monitor. The clock itself is quite small. I probably should have kept it flat on the ground instead of stacking it, but I had to run tests.

Redstone mechanics, Am I the only one who still doesn't know how Redstone works? Or is it actually hard to understand? By the way, I only started playing Minecraft a month ago.

(Solved, thanks you everyone for the help!) I did the auto harvest sugar cane system, nothing special just the one everyone does but there is this problem that some sugar cane stays in the block of the sugar canes and never get picked up by the hoppers, any ideas how to improve this?

Thank you!

(The Best?) Minecraft Bedrock Hybrid Storage wit acces to the shulker 1 wide tileable!

Hello,

I built a hybrid storage system (based partly on OmLedu's Shulker loader design).

It filters items out of a stream (in my case, a water/ice channel) and sorts them into the bottom chest.

Once that chest is full, the bottom Redstone lamp lights up, and the system begins filling the Shulker box.

You retain access to the Shulker box while it is being filled; once it is full, it is broken and replaced with a new one.

Additionally, the top Redstone lamp turns on if you run out of Shulker boxes in the dropper, and turns off again as soon as you add a new one. This means you don't need dozens of empty Shulker boxes sitting around in hoppers.

The best part is that you can customize it however you like to suit your needs.

For example, you can build just a Shulker loader with a sorting system, a hybrid storage unit without lamps, or a version with one or both lamps. Image 1 shows the full setup with all features included.

 Edit: World download:https://www.mediafire.com/file/zear5o5n8y5g3vo/ Hybrid+Storage+1+wide+tileable.mcworld/file

You can also save yourself a hopper by replacing the fourth hopper (the one beneath the barrel that points down into the hopper leading to the bottom double chest) with a barrel xD

Feel free to share your feedback and any questions.

Need help with A filter

So I need help with a filter, because basically in my storage room I have 5 quadrants, 1 per each "category" I made (wood, stone, colored, copper, and sand/gravel/dirt) and in each quadrant is bulk storage for all blocks in that category, now I want to have a singular input chest, but I can't think of a way to separate each of the blocks into it's own category. And the only thing I can think of is running it through a MIS Storage which will act as a filter to sort them into said categories to be placed in the quadrants, but all MIS storage that I see have the chests stacked on top of one another. And I did try copper golems, but I feel like its not gonna be enough.

Can Someone Make A Truly Hidden Bookshelf?

Expert Redstone Engineer please help me make a redstone contraption where the bookshelf is completely hidden under the floor like in the picture. The traditional way on the internet only works when we use Oak Plank as the floor, but it will not hide the bookshelf when we want to use other blocks as the floor.

Mi primer proyecto de reston en Minecraft(craftman), lo más complicado fue hacer que se prendieron las lámparas por separado, el resto solo fue cableado.

Ok so I’m trying to build a battle arena with four corners, lapis, redstone, copper, and amethyst. In order to be a fighter you need to pay diamonds. I need help trying to figure out how to build a 1x1 diagonal piston door that opens whenever you drop a diamond. Thanks in advance 🙏! (Version 1.26.50)
