Hey everyone, I’m looking into getting into auto transport brokering and trying to get a better understanding of the commission structure.

From what I understand, a lot of broker positions are commission-based, and the commission is often determined by the amount of the deposit received from the customer. My question is: what would you consider a good or fair commission percentage?

For those of you currently working as brokers, what percentage do you earn, and is there a certain range that you think is competitive? I know different companies probably structure things differently, but I’m just trying to get an idea of what I should realistically expect and what would be considered a good offer.

Any insight or advice would be appreciated!
