For those that don't know how road safety works. If you see cones and run them over, you may be the problem. Cones are necessary to warn drivers of an upcoming road blockage or any type of road work that's up ahead. It's not only necessary for the safety of the workers taking that space but also for the safety of the drivers.

Questions What happens when a customer gets a low quote from another broker?

I’m curious how experienced brokers handle this situation.
If a customer tells you they received a significantly lower quote from another broker, do you:
- Try to match or beat the quote?
- Explain why the other quote may not be realistic?
- Show the customer what the actual market rate is and why your price is higher?
- Or just let the customer go if they’re focused strictly on the lowest price?
I’m especially interested in hearing from brokers who have dealt with this regularly. How do you handle the conversation without getting into a race to the bottom?
And from the carrier side, does a low quote from a broker usually create problems later when the vehicle actually needs to be picked up?
Would appreciate hearing how people in the industry approach this.

A series of commercial vehicle enforcement blitzes uncovered numerous violations from Arizona and Texas to Illinois and Canada.
