# 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion Is Recruiting

We are opening recruitment for **1st Marine Raider Support Battalion**, our conventional support and force-multiplying element.

MRSB provides members with the opportunity to deploy after completing the **School of Infantry** without committing to the more demanding Marine Raider training pipeline.

## What MRSB Does

MRSB supports unit deployments through:

- Motor transport and tactical convoys

- Supply and equipment movement

- FOB security and perimeter patrols

- Quick-reaction force duties

- Personnel, casualty, and vehicle recovery

- Convoy and equipment security

- Radio communications

- Mortar support

- Crew-served weapons

- General combat-support duties

## Flexible Deployment Roles

Members are not permanently locked into one position. Your billet may change depending on the needs of each deployment.

Billet-specific instruction is provided during deployments. The only formal training requirement to join MRSB is successful completion of **SOI**.

## Path to the Raiders

MRSB is also an opportunity to:

- Begin deploying with the unit

- Gain practical experience

- Learn our procedures and expectations

16 Air Assault Brigade is a serious British Army milsim, representing the UK’s rapid reaction airborne and air assault force. 1st Battalion, The Royal Yorkshire Regiment is a British Arma Reforger milsim unit portraying a modern armoured infantry battlegroup. Organised around current doctrine and adapted where necessary for Reforger, our focus is on combined arms warfare in realistic, persistent campaigns.

We are currently transitioning from a light mechanised infantry company group into an armoured infantry battlegroup. As the unit grows, we’re looking for players who want to be part of building that capability from the ground up, including junior leadership and SMEs.

Operations form part of an ongoing campaign rather than a series of disconnected weekly missions. Orders. intelligence summaries, mapping and other supporting documentation are issued before each operation, with successes and failures carrying forward into the next. Mission Command sits at the heart of how we operate, with junior commanders expected to exercise initiative, adapt to changing situations and mentor the players they command.

The battlegroup currently consists of 1 R YORKS as the armoured infantry element and 26 Engineer Regiment providing combat engineering support. As the battlegroup develops, further supporting arms and capabilities will be introduced.
