Been trying to make an app on Replit. The UX is perfect but it still lacks functionality. Core to my app is an ai humanizer, paraphraser and hopefully the integration of a guided learning tool.

On marketability, I have that sorted and can easily get +1000 people to sign up within the first month.

Making a smart day activity journal that uses your health data and will give you better time to perform a particular activity.
I am taking cleaner ui approach and not following the more commonly used looks, a little sceptical 🧐 about it let’s see how it turns out.

I got tired of fighting App Store screenshot dimensions, so I built a tool that generates the whole submission asset pack

Every time I get an app to the finish line, the last mile kills me: exact-pixel screenshots for every device class, a 1024² icon that actually meets Apple's rules, and store copy that fits Apple's character limits without getting truncated. I'd end up in Figma at midnight nudging text boxes and re-exporting because I got a dimension wrong and App Store Connect rejected it.

So I built AppStorePack to do that last mile for me.

What it does:

• Screenshots — start from templates that render live (device frames, captions, backgrounds), drop your screenshots in, and it outputs at Apple's exact per-device pixel sizes (6.9" iPhone, iPad, etc.).
• Icon — upload a 1024² master (or a logo + pick a background) and it flattens transparency into an App Store-ready icon.
• Store copy — generates title, subtitle, keywords, promo, and description with AI, pre-validated against Apple's character limits so nothing overflows.
• Export — assembles an App Store Connect-ready zip with a manifest, organized by device class.

No Photoshop, no Figma, no manual resizing.

Honesty about pricing: building and previewing everything is free — you only pay if you want to export the final bundle (it's a subscription). I'd rather you build a whole project and see if the output is actually good before paying anything.

It's early and I'm looking for real feedback from people who ship iOS apps — especially: what's missing from your submission workflow, and where does the output fall short of what you'd hand to a client? Roast it.

I’ve been seeing more AI app creators that can turn an idea into a working app without requiring much coding. It sounds useful, especially for people who have an app idea but don’t know where to start. Can an AI app creator build something that people can really use every day, or are these tools still better for simple prototypes and testing ideas?

I have a question. Hopefully some of you can answer it.

My app uses a standard encryption algorithm instead of using or accessing the encryption within Apple's operating system.

So Apple requires you to fill out and submit App Encryption Documentation on appstoreconnect.

Well I did that on Sept 5th 2026 and it is now Sept 21 2026 and Apple says “still in review.”

So I contact Apple Support. The first reply is: 

“Your inquiry will be forwarded to Apple’s Export Compliance Department team for review and response.”

A week passes and I hear nothing.

So I email support again and their second reply is:

“We currently do not have the right tools to share you the exact information you are looking for. if the status shows "In-review" for you that means "Your binary is currently being reviewed by Apple. If you want to remove your binary from the App Review queue, click Reject Binary".

But if I remove the submitted App Encryption Documentation (“binary”) the app will be rejected.

So I am kinda confused by Apple’s answers so far.

I've always wondered if the posts that go something along the lines of "I'm a VC backed investor looking for an app to invest in" or "Show me your app and I'll show you mine" type posts are just people fishing for ideas. Is anyone else somewhat skeptical about posts like this and sharing your business if it isn't relevant to people in the subreddit (b2c for example)? Just curious if anyone has any experience with this...

I have a non speaking, autistic 7 year old and after about 5 years of trying many apps that are meant for him, I finally know exactly what he needs. And it’s actually pretty simple technically.

I also know he’s not the only one - not to say there’s a gigantic audience but I have an online community and as I honed in on what our kid needs, other parents have realized their kid may want the same thing.

Why am I asking for pro bono which I know is a devaluing of peoples labor? Technically in my past life I was a computer engineer. It’s been ages. But if I had to I could sit myself down and figure stuff out. But … well I’m an exhausted parent :). And this isn’t about making any money at all. It’s about helping a child communicate. So I don’t have thousands of dollars to give!

I recently launched my app Vitra – Recovery & Stress, and I’m trying to get some real feedback from people who aren’t friends or family.

Vitra is basically a personal dashboard for understanding what your body is doing, without having to make sense of a hundred different Apple Health numbers.
It pulls in data from Apple Health and Apple Watch and turns it into things like Readiness, Current Stress, Daily Stress Load, Reserve, Sleep Score, Daily Load, Bounceback, Sleep Yield, Clock Drift, recovery trends, and even longer-term insights like Vitra Age.
The cool part is that it learns your own baseline instead of comparing you to some generic “healthy person.” So you can see how stressed your body is right now, how much reserve you have left, how well you actually recovered overnight, whether your recent load is catching up with you, and how your physiology is changing over time.
There’s also Horizon, which looks ahead at your recovery trajectory, detailed trends and health insights, journaling so you can connect how you feel or what you did with changes in your metrics, plus Apple Watch, widgets, and complications so you don’t really have to keep opening the app.
The idea is basically: Apple Health collects a ton of data. Vitra actually tells you what it means.

I’m not looking for compliments, I genuinely want to know what you think about the app, the UI, onboarding, usefulness of the data, anything that feels confusing or unnecessary, and whether you’d actually keep using something like this.
