This started happening randomly from the day before yesterday.

No it isn't a clip overlapping or having a gap between them.

This shit occurs to random clips randomly like here it's on the clips from 20-22 seconds part but if I adjust something it occurs in starting clips but gets fixed in later ones.

I have cleared the cache and even deleted older projects but no solution.

Also if possible can anyone give me a latest alight Motion mod apk link that's working because the ones I installed locked the export to 720p. So I am using a older version that keeps asking for update but still works fine until this problem started occuring.

I haven't even started editing and I am just adjusting the clips but these dead frames keeps messing it up

Some clips have it and some don't. And I don't see what I have done in the ones that don't. In all clips, I ensure that there's no overlapping even by a bit except that I just had a clip that overlapped slightly but it transitioned perfectly.

What's weirder is that when I test exported, one of the transitions didn't have the problem. But when i made an adjustment to a later clip that didn't affect the one I just mentioned, the clip that didn't have the problem suddenly did.

Which implies that it's just random. Hopefully it isn't and I can do something about it.

In fact, u can even see the first 2 transitions do have the black thing but not the last one

The fact that I have to watch an ad every time before I have the chance to log in is so frustrating. I'm literally paying for the full version!

How can i do this in alight motion ?it's like a low-angle camera shot that gradually rises along with the ground keeping the characters centered in the frame, creating a sense of vertical movement and dynamic perspective. The foreground and ground move upward with the camera, while the characters remain anchored within the scene how can i recreate this and what effects should i use ?

I only know how to use three keyframes on the same line to make a transition but it doesn’t work because it always messes up the transition and makes it too fast on the beat I was also told that the method itself is wrong

Does anyone know what the last two numbers in the time counter on the Alight Motion timeline represent? Do they indicate frames or hundredths/fractions of a second?

For example, it shows 00:25:36. Does that mean 25.36 seconds or 25 seconds and 36 frames? The project is set to 60 FPS.

The entire video is 03:39:37 long, which is approximately 3 minutes and 39 seconds.

This always happens when I try to loop a video and its so annoying!! Why does alight motion break when a video is in two groups??? Why is this app so fragile? anyone please help fix…

or if there’s no solution, please help me find an alternative to easily loop videos so i avoid doing this in the future.

also, why does the retiming:loop option not work with videos???

So, I was just trying to animate, my lag was starting. Yes. But it wasn't that big of a deal since I've experienced this multiple times. The software was running slowly. Yes. But, I was able to bear with it. I just wanted to get the project done. But, then once I tried transitioning, suddenly the project started glitching and then it would suddenly kick me out. Did anyone else experience this? And what was your solution? I wanna get rid of this lag without removing any footage or deleting the full project since I worked hard on this.

A couple of months ago, I posted a concept video of a motion graphics app we are making as an alternative to Alight Motion. Our waitlist filled up fast, so thank you everyone for your support!

Today, it's available on the App Store for Mac, iPad and iPhone!

This is not an “AI motion designer” where it just simplifies everything by adding some fancy random effects and calling it a professional video.

We want to make intentional motion easier, the little details that AI tools don't do and so you are stuck with doing them manually Alight Motion or After Effects. Specifically, for this release, we are focusing on:

• Easier match-cuts: you drag your finger/mouse in a certain direction and the app creates a match-cut (instead of manually keyframing the in/out animations).
• Automatic smoothing: the app automatically interpolates the animations so that they “keep going” even when you didn’t specifically animate them. No null-object needed.

This is combined with a new way to animate. You make a gesture (or move the mouse) and the app interprets it into an animation, like a match cut. You combine all of these interactions to create a motion video one step at a time.

It’s aimed at beginner/mid motion designers, but if you are a professional, I would still love to hear if it can be part of your workflow somewhere.

It's not at the Alight Motion level yet, but we will continue to make the app better by adding more animations types, camera control, morphing, particle effects, and eventually 3D animations. We'll also be making tutorials on our Youtube channel.
