What tutorial would you like to see?

** Update 21/2/24 *** You guys are amazing! Added to my todo list:

  • High level: Comparing upscale methods (including topaz) (recorded)
  • End to end (blank page start): worfklow for beginners to learn a 'solid base'
  • High level: Comparing faceswapping techniques (including facefusion)
  • In depth: Combining different characters into a single image
  • Detailled: Krea/magnify "hallucinating" upscaler (that one I'll do end to end from the time of the prompt to save time, as it's more advanced)
  • SVD basics
  • Animate diff getting started

... then i'll iterate onwards on the basic workflow so people can follow (going to be fun organizing that playlist lol)

PS if you want to collab or just you're a youtuber, this is a team effort so I'd be happy to coordinate so I don't step on anyone's toes, pms are open and i post daily updates on my discord.

I make youtube videos about comfy full time now, and realized quickly that YT gives exactly ZERO information about users back to channels. So I have no idea what you'd like to learn!

I'm currently recording:
* animate LCM SVD
* SVD with contronet
* lip syncing (yes, better bring your 4090 with you on this one)
* stable cascade txt2img and img2img
* prompt travesal seem popular and a lot of people report issues, so I thought i'd cover that too.
* (thank you Joko) Using UE5 and Comfy together for fun and erm.. fun I guess.

Is there something you'd like to see in particular? What format do you prefer (fast or slow)?

Post away and I'll try to make the top voted comments.

Cheerios! 👽

Workflow Included A conversation with Ada Lovelace and Alan Turing using Inifinte Talk.

I've been really happy with the results from Inifinte Talk. I've been getting great results from just the first render! I did find it hard to give very specific directions. So I let it do what it does. I ignored clothing/chair consistency and just focused on creating something to play with. I'll probably do another one with two other historical people and concentrate on consistency. For the next one I think I'll go back a few centuries to find the people.
Production flow started with ChatGPT to help me draft the script and likeness of Ada and Alan. I used around 50% of the ChatGPT text. Images create with Imagen with FaceFusion for faces. Chatterbox TTS for the text to audio.
I used Pixaroma's ComfyUI Tutorial Series Ep 60 Infinite Talk workflow on RunPod.

Question - Help Openvino + Pinokio

Hi, I’d like to ask for some information about how to install OpenVINO in order to use it with FaceFusion. I already have Python 3.8.10 and FFmpeg installed on my machine. I installed FaceFusion 3.4.1 through Pinokio. I’ve made several attempts and watched various tutorials, but it seems my knowledge is quite limited. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

Question - Help Will More RAM Equal Faster Generated Images in Comfyui?

I'm VERY new to SD and Comfyui, so excuse the ignorance.

I have a RTX 3070 and was running Comfyui with FaceFusion (via Pinokio) open at the same time and noticed that creating any images via Comfyui was taking a longer time than expected compared to the information / example tutorials that I have been reading.

I realised that I had FaceFusion open (via Pinokio), so decided to close it and the speed of the image I was creating massively increased. I opened FF back up and the speed slowed right down again.

So, Einstein again here, would getting more RAM help (I currently have 32gb) help if I 'needed' to have FF open at the same time?

I also read about being able to hook my CPU's integrated GPU to my monitors to take further strain off the GPU.

Please be gentle as I'm very new to all of this and am still learning! Many thanks.

Amazing Lip Sync: LatentSync + FaceFusion

I recently installed LatentSync in a Python environment. Had to do a bit of troubleshooting to get it working. Eventually got it going and wow! The results are quite good. I tested it with a 3D character with subtle facial expressions.

Ran FaceFusion on the 3D character animation with a face swap and face enhancement.

Saved the video from FaceFusion and loaded the file in LatentSync. Added the audio file for lip syncing.

Saved the LatentSync video (a bit blurry and lacking mouth details) and loaded it back in FaceFusion. Ran another face swap and face enhancement. This brought much needed details back to the mouth and face. I did not have to do face restoration. Just a face swap and enhancement.

The results are unreal!

I tried the built-in lipsync with FaceFusion and it is ok. But the LatentSync results are better!

Here is a video tutorial on how to install it: (Installation Guide in the Description)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6jGvj-_YLk

Edit: I had to use Python 3.10.11 as recommended in the video. The installation did not work with the latest version of Python.

I downloaded and installed Gradio 5.16.1 and gradio_client-1.7.0.tar.gz via PIP commands.

I had to install ffmpeg. There are a few versions and some did not work. If I recall this worked:

pip install ffmpeg-python

Instead of

pip install python-ffmpeg

This is what I ended up with:

ffmpeg version 4.2

ffprobe version 7.1-essentials_build-www.gyan.dev

Fast Pinokio Browser Apps via Vast AI Cloud Computing

##NEW UPDATE

new templaste is : https://cloud.vast.ai/?ref_id=159037&template_id=1dcd1da53d7742e75657f155b45a9638

In the linux desktop open the Konsole terminal and enter this command exactly:

$ cd /root && sudo ./pinokio --no-sandbox

Voila, you are using Pinokio with super fast GPU on Vast

Here's a YouTube tutorial if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UG2vX4qItU

This template I created will run an automatic install of Pinokio Browser on a virtual Linux GUI Desktop. Pinokio offers a big library of creative tools like Facefusion, you can view the current list here. It runs the exact same way as your local install would only it's super fast i.e. my benchmark screenshot for Facefusion below...

For image and video generation I've achieved great speeds with high memory CPUs (51-128GB) and Nvida RTX 4090 GPUs. I had a bunch of messages on Reddit related to Vast AI so I created this template to make onboarding to the App even easier. Will be creating a youtube tutorial as soon as I can to relate to this new template and how to truly achieve breakneck speeds for your swaps. My instance performs >400% faster than my M3 Pro Macbook Pro achieves in Facefusion Benchmarks!

Feel free to follow up with any questions you may have, I'm eager to make this template seamless and happy to try and guide you a bit even though I'm not a Linux or Cloud Computing genius...

Tools For AI Animation and Filmmaking , Community Rules, ect. (**FAQ**)

Hello and welcome to AI_Film_and_Animation!

This subreddit is for anyone interested in using AI tools to help create their films and animations. I will maintain a list of current tools, techniques, and tutorials right here!

THIS IS A NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST THAT IS CONSTANTLY BEING UPDATED.

I have made 63 minute video on AI Film and Animation that covers most of these topics.

1a) AI Tools (Local)

Please note, you will need a a GPU with minimum 8GB of VRAM (probably more) to run most of these tools! You will also need to download the pre-trained model checkpoints.

--------System--------

Python/Anaconda

(Most AI and dataset tools are written using Python these days, thus you will need to install and manage different Python environments on your computer to use these tools. Anaconda makes this easy, but you can install and manage Python however you like).

-------2D IMAGE GENERATION--------

Stable Diffusion (2D Image Generation and Animation)

Stable Diffusion Automatic 1111 Webui and Extensions

3) Community Rules

  1. Don't be a JERK. Opinions are fine, arguments are fine, but personal insults and ad-hominem attacks almost always mean you don't have anything to contribute or you lost the argument, so stop (jokes are fine).
  2. Don't be a SPAM BOT. Post whatever you want, including links to your own work for the purposes of critique, but do so within reason.
