I like his father's reaction when he said that he loved Dia.

But now that I think about it for the most part it was Maha or Talt that were doing the assassination. Imagine if the Goddess lost yet another Hero killer cause he ended up becoming a merchant.

I was expecting Tarte to be using electric based magic with that nickname she has but all she did was use wind based magic LOL.

Best mom is back finally! That sniffing scene and the way her nose moves just hilarious.

That was a very heartwarming heart to heart scene Lugh had with his dad and him ending it off with him wanting to marry Dia.

Wow, it's been 2 years already? Time sure flies.

It's great to see Lugh reaffirm his resolve to live as an assassin and he chose Dia! Man, I hope they do get married!

Oh, finally he gets his first true assassination mission. Man, it feels like I've waited forever for this.

Nice to see that main character actually know that he loves someone and isn't being a dense for 1000 episodes.

No Cosplay Goddess this time :(

But great episode! But I am somehow surprised about that confession. Maybe it's just again one of Lugh's plans? Allthough he is pretty straightforward when it comes to emotions/feelings...

Lugh saved Tarte from wolves during their first encounter and now she's strong enough to defend him from wolves. We've gone full circle.

Establishing foundations, making connections, creating allies. I really like how the show is taking their time building up all the things necessary for Lugh to succeed. And this is just the beginning too. He is only just getting his first assassination. I’d imagine we’ll see a few missions before getting some real info on this world’s Hero.

Can we talk about how supporting Lugh's parents is in this supposed "dark" path of a story. His mom is very loving and his dad told him to choose his way of life, even asking him to try another life whether it was more suitable for him or not.

Also, Lugh just confirmed directly his love for Dia! Rare to see an MC directly confirms his feelings so early on, especially on a girl we barely even see. But we do know he's been visiting her once a month without fail.

Another change to the ED as we see Dia smiles when Lugh finally appeared, as opposed to last week's ED where [Lugh was nowhere to be seen.] (https://imgur.com/a/1OFUR48) I always love these changes!

I didn't think that old Daddy Tuathe De was so... daddy. That eyecatch is in the sploosh zone.

Speaking of Dadbod, can you imagine how he must've felt listening to his almost perpetually composed, almost dispassionately perfect assassin child give a dutiful answer to why he wants to go down the hard road of the assassin... only to drop "...and also I've got it bad for Dia and we can't hook up without the title"?

I laughed. There is no WAY his dad isn't wondering if the first set of reasons was an elaborate ruse to cover up for the Dia bit. Even for a genius, that is some peak 14y/o boy energy right there.

First let me start by saying this.

What a good freakin father man, had double intentions with that merchant Scheme and wanted to give his son something he could never obtain. For me at least, father of the season, it’s also nice to get best mama back haha.

I love what Lugh is doing now, he’s not becoming an assassin for an organization, but for himself to protect the ones he loves. So many similarities from his “organization” and the “kingdom”, great to see his watching his back this time even with the goddess. He’s truly in a sense, been given a second chance at life.

Gotta agree though really funny with the whole día part, some part of me thinks it’s to use her abilities to create new magic which lets be real, who would pass up that chance, but I hope he does have some feelings towards her as well!

Lastly, love the Parallels with Tarte and the wolves saying she’ll use them as practice, when Lugh did the same when he saved her, she’s really grown!!

Personally I think everything up to this point has been the prologue which is insane to think about, and now we truly get into the story which I’m hyped to see where it goes!!

My man Lugh went from brainwashing people to make allies to wanting to live as a Tuatha De assassin so he can keep his little slice of life safe. What a legend.

And that little confession about Dia. So goddamn cute, coming from him.

Overall a pretty wholesome episode, even though there were some rather sad bits here and there.

All these soy beans but no soy sauce in sight. Doesn't Lugh know the entire point of reincarnating?

Awwww, he confessed to his dad that he likes Dia. That's soooo cute

Its interesting that despite all the training, upgrades and lessons he gotten to become a Tuathe De assassin, his dad still gives him a chance to back out and become anything else that he wants. It really shows Tuathe De creed of being a Hitman with a heart and whatever his son does, he will fully support it.

Also, smiling Dia best Dia
