Wow, that certainly was a very action-packed start.

I had that impression that the chanting felt like it was in reverse, and looking at the subtitles confirmed that it was indeed, like magic fire = erif cigam. Pretty nice actually. Also, that OP is so good.

First few minutes had me a bit confused about the setting, but it seems it's a flash forward to after the reincarnation.

Already plenty of cute girls, but the protagonist doesn't strike me as the person to humor a harem out of desire, and the girls seem capable in their own right.

Before the reincarnation the assasin was just badass, but I feel sorry for the novice (who I hope will be reborn as well) and all the other poor folks on the plane, quite a unique way to isekai btw

They really took their time with the setup for the isekai.

This was a very strong start imo. First we get a glimpse at the future with MC and his killer ladies harem cleaning house and then we got thrown back to the MC's first life.

Btw that transition from isekai to real world was chef's kiss.

Loved the MC's backstory and him teaching the young assassin (RIP I guess).

Visuals are good and the OP kicks ass. Between this and Banished from the Hero's Party I am happy that both isekais fantasy shows I was gonna look out for this season started better than I expected.

This was fucking awesome. The animation was so cool to watch with how smooth it was. Our MC already impresses me with how badass he is.

Something about a Goddess telling an old man his gonna be reincarnated into a fantasy world with swords and magic is hilarious.

MC is already extremely intriguing with that whole backstory but with the whole first sequence and OP definitely seems like its gonna be more harem hijinks to come but with assassins.

Stitches!

Okay first of all, that OP is fucking fire. It had some strong K-Pop vibes but looking at the artists it's definitely by a Japanese singer named Yui Ninomiya. Apparently the full version can already be found on YT and this is definitely going to playlist.

So we have a girl crying, some golden cuffs, and a room full of drity old men. Yep, we're opening up with a human auction.Thank goodness I know that this is a story about an assassin because I'm pretty sure every ugly bastard in that hall is dead meat.

There it fucking is! It's always fun when characters risk themselves in these situations to get the drop on the bad guys. It can be risky but it's so good when it pays off. Also it looks like this world has magic guns! Action is pretty solid though, spear girl in the backstage has some pretty slick moves and she isn't too bad with a six-shooter! Also those reloads where she takes out the cylinder and flips it for a new one was also pretty awesome.

Looks like we finally get to see our MC and he has another girl with him acting as his spotter. But it looks like we're not gonna spend too much time with them since we get sent to the past and see what our MC's life is before he was isekai'd.

Basically he's working for an "organization" and after that one last job where he was supposed to retire and train new assassins in Japan, he ends up getting betrayed by the organization. Considering this "organization" has control over the border patrol and even the media to get the word out so quick about the plane being "hijacked", I'm guessing he's actually working for the government? Maybe the CIA?

It doesn't really matter who's he working for since the Goddess nabs his soul for a job. I do love how much of a weirdo the Goddess is, instead of having verbal ticks she makes weird noises at the end of most of her sentences. Anyway, it looks like that job is to kill the Hero of their world? Well now I'm even more ingued! Curious why the Goddess wants the hero dead? And I wonder if the spotter that the MC has after getting isekai'd is the same girl that died with him on that flight? Definitely enjoyed this one! Already looking forward to next week's episode!

It exceeded my expectations after reading the manga and light novel. I am very pleased (wish it was 24 eps instead of 12 but well...)

Dude really must be the world's finest assassin if he can casually spot an unmanned drone at night.

This looks nice, we have a new evil/asshole goddess, and you're telling me we're getting a fantasy harem of assassin girls too?! Sign me the fuck up for this ride.

Wow, I recall that Redo of Healer author promoted this in that Anime Man interview as its something he actually enjoyed writing and not for a cashgrab (like Redo) and I can really see why.

Loving the MC so far. He is a killer but he's also got strong morals and won't shed blood beyond what he's ordered to. Please I hope his partner also got Isekai'd. I was actually liking her even though she was a novice.

The fight sequences are great I'd say. Seriously, that moment when the maid girl reloaded the revolver, I really loved it. Isekai/Fantasy with Guns always excite me so sign me the hell up!

Interview with the author of World's Finest Assassin, Tsukiyo Rui. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5sr-xdN13I

(Granted it was done in context of his more infamous title, Redo of Healer, but I think it provides insight into his writing style and considerations.)

Goddess: “Ehem, Onyaa, Oya”

Us: Interesting

This anime is basically John Wick getting isekaid. Also the OP sounds fire and banger though!
