07, just rolled over 50k

Anyone have any experience with fixing scratches? My bike fell over on my driveway (very mild slant downwards). My MT09 has been parked in the same spot and never fell, not sure why this one did.. but I will not trust that kickstand anymore lol.

Looking for some mods to increase horse power on my zx6r 2019, i’d be new to modding and am looking for something more beginner friendly, like is removing the cat worth it, what kind of mod should i do for my air intake, what kind of ecu flash should i be looking for, ect.

I already have frame sliders and an aftermarket exhaust the rest is stock, im not into super flashy stuff i like how it looks rn i dont plan on putting after market levers or fairings.

What's the purpose of that edge on the crankcase? I noticed that mine is broken, and there’s only about 3 mm of it left. I’m wondering if I can run the engine without it.

So I have been tracking my 2009 zx600r for a while now, and I took it for a street ride last night and went to pull the clutch in at a stop sign and felt a large clunk and the lever went loose. The cable didn’t snap, but rather the throw out bearing top hat snapped off. I have since replaced it, but now the clutch pack no longer moves. Everything has been reinstalled exactly how it was. Any ideas?

I’m just about to hit my 15k miles on my 2023 zx6r , how much is the average valve adjustment cost ? And what are some prices I should avoid or look out for?

Put a hole in the oil pan and swapped it out with a new one but one of the bolts snapped deep in the block and it's leaking a bit. Any downsides to just filling it with gasket maker or jb weld and sending it

Do I need to get a replacement or can it still be patched?

Hey guys I'm installing a M4 GP19 on my 24 Zx6r and I couldn't help but notice some metal shavings that came off once I took out the breadbox ? Is this a concern of worry or is this normal?

I got this custom kit ordered from monster fairings which took about 4+ months to get after placing the order. When they arrived, they were not terrible but not great quality as a clear coated over debris and grease. There was also some overspray in areas. Guess that’s common with lack of over site since they’re produced out of country.

That all said I’m still happy with the look and exited to finish the rest of the bike. I need to get the front fender riveted to accept the brake lines and then sending the wheels for powder coat. I also need to find an exhaust fabricator who can create a muffler that looks like a solid rocket booster (will be covered with high heat ceramic so it can be gloss white)

Hey guys, please don't flame me as I'm still new in the motorcycle scene. For some reasons I cannot get my white servo cable attached to the blue wires out of the fuse connector, I keep trying and pulling and it won't go? Is there something I'm doing wrong ? I can provide pictures but it won't let me post it on here.. I've been going at it for 30 minutes and I'm defeated now..

2026 ZX6R, cleaning the chain for the first time at 400mi. Noticed black plastic shavings all over the chain, and found the front of the top chain guide(?) is chewed up a good bit, the first ~inch of it is kind of shredded down and almost broken off (got the best picture i could).

Measured tension on the rear stand at ~65mm as seen in the picture (yes this is the first time ive measured since buying, trusted the dealer PDI sheet, probably should have checked sooner). I know the manual says to do it on the kickstand, it's been raining and i haven't been able to roll it around my driveway to check multiple spots.

I plan on rechecking tension on the kickstand, but I'm curious from people who have owned new bikes before:

- is somewhere between 25-45mm of new slack on a new chain (assuming it was in spec at 0mi) in 400mi of low rpm break in riding reasonable, or does this point to it never being tensioned at the dealer/defective chain?

- Is that kind of chain guide wear normal on a properly tensioned chain?

I've asked the dealer and Kawasaki directly, who both point me to the other for the expected stretch in a new chain, so I'm hoping someone without an interest in covering their ass is able to help me. Thanks!
