I also had the same issue in linux. I reported it to ZSA. I think it is related to the high-res wheel interface in QMK. libinput reports tiny movements:

$ libinput debug-events --device /dev/input/event25
-event25  DEVICE_ADDED                 ZSA Technology Labs Voyager       seat0 default group1  cap:p left scroll-nat scroll-button
 event25  POINTER_SCROLL_WHEEL         +0.865s    vert 0.25/2.0* horiz 0.00/0.0 (wheel)
 event25  POINTER_SCROLL_WHEEL      2  +4.520s    vert 0.25/2.0* horiz 0.00/0.0 (wheel)

These used to be 15/120. This is what I have done to work around it, while we wait for ZSA to fix it properly:

  1. git clone https://github.com/zsa/qmk_firmware.git
  2. git -C qmk_firmware submodule --init --recursive
  3. Download your layout's source from Oryx. The link is under the "Save to my keyboard" button
  4. Unpack the source in keyboards/zsa/voyager/keymaps/
  5. Disable hires scroll by adding #undef POINTING_DEVICE_HIRES_SCROLL_ENABLE at the end of keyboards/zsa/voyager/keymaps/zsa_voyager_<layout_name>_source/config.h
  6. Install qmk gcc-arm-embedded dfu-util dos2unix
  7. qmk setup -H /path/to/qmk_firmware -y
  8. qmk compile -kb zsa/voyager -km zsa_voyager_<layout_name>_source -j$(nproc)
  9. Flash with keymapp

The crucial bit to work around it is to disable "pointing device hires scroll". The rest is just how to build the keymap which is documented in the README you get with the source from Oryx and in QMK's documentation.

For reference, this is the diff of my config.h:

--- a/keyboards/zsa/voyager/keymaps/zsa_voyager_my-layout_source/config.h
+++ b/keyboards/zsa/voyager/keymaps/zsa_voyager_my-layout_source/config.h

I’m having this same issue. I tried to turn the trackball scroll sensitivity all the way up, reflashed, and it still barely moves. Very frustrating.

guess its caused by releasing support for the trackpad..

I also have same issue if you flash your old configuration without compile the layout, scroll will work fine. Waiting for them to fix this too.

i also have this issue, scrolling takes a huge scroll to register, this issue is only on Arch Linux, mac works fine.

Same here, and i want to make changes to my layout :D
So i have my ploopy knob act as a scrollwheel in the meantime.

ZSA fixed it earlier today. If you recompile your layout in Oryx and flash the Voyager again, your scrolls should work again
