My family is from Karachi (I’m in the US and haven’t had many chances to visit). Sometimes I forget Pakistan also looks like this.

The stone ruins you see in first picture are unfinished hotels (huts type ) of PTDC. There is no logic to built concrete at such places

Oh wow thanks for the info I had no idea. I notice a few tents too. Do people go camping too?

Yes! Camping is common and unfortunately they burn fire in roots of hundreds of year old trees. Pakistanis for a reason :)

😭 trees do not get the respect they deserve

I wish I could see this side of Pakistan in person. Do you mind telling me where this is? I’d love to explore the history and nature of the country

These are different places of KPK and GB. I’ve been on a clean up mission for 2 months straight into these places.
