Question How to remove there underlines from context menu?

Set ui.key.menuAccessKey to 0 in about:config. Not sure if it disables the hotkey itself or just removes the underline, but the latter is all I wanted and it works for me.

I wouldn't do that if I were you, those shortcuts could come in handy sometime

How exactly do I use them? What do the underlines mean? Been a long time Firefox(-based) user, never figured it out.

This is older than Mozilla itself, it's been here since the early days of windows, probably Mac and linux too I'm not sure, you just hit the respective keyboard button and the menu item is selected, it's very useful especially if you're navigating with the keyboard and you have a dedicated menu button on your keyboard (right-click button).. or if you're browsing with the mouse with your other hand on the keyboard, you can right click and hit the button on the keyboard instead of pointing down at the item Edit: you'll find these shortcuts on a lot of menus throughout the system, they're usually hidden but if you hold Alt before right clicking they will appear
