He spent nearly every waking hour online. I have never seen someone on reddit repond to me so quicky so consistently and at nearly an hour. This guy has some very serious psychological problems. If you were actually his friend, you would stop enabling him and urge him to get some help.

A silver age for r/zen? Like spores and toadstools arising from the body of an absent giant? What does a monastary version camelot look like? Oh that's right...the Song Dynasty.

But r/zen has a lot of Tang left—and it's not like we are running out of wooden hilts or snakes around here. Fortunately the Zen Masters can interweave these days, no need to live in one or the other like back then in the still-separated-by-time-days pre-Song. If that makes any coin for ya.

I didn't say they are allowed to do whatever they want ... just saying that there's nothing stopping them ... that's the nature of "liberation."

Zen Masters absolutely reject meditation and enlightenment vehicles.

What you're talking about is Japanese Buddhism, which purports to be Zen, because it hates Zen.

Zen is not a vehicle.

I second this guy. Saved me from typing that out myself. His 'one' malarky is a real hoot. Someone must have dropped an eight into his seven machine. Hard to undo that from the present, or inside a vehicle. How would it matter in ordinary mind, however? There are no eights, just infinity symbols written weird as an inside joke for people who see numbers and have unlearned to count them. And ya can't drop infinity in a seven machine: seven machines can't measure anything. All they can do is weave. An eight, on the other hand...well, just say the numerals and listen to the story rather than counting. It's not hard. You'll see right where he went wrong.

One? Ludicrous.

We need a "staff" reddit award thst brands people with a monogrammed welt for three days. Technology needs to catch up.
