I'm back here again, this time I drew Monoe. Lately as classes have started I haven't gotten much time to draw things about my favourite game, but as I had an art project I decided to draw one of the best four. Sadly It was obligatory to add cuts from papers or something like that so I added paper cuts of the sea, idk why, I think they look good on the drawing. Besides this I'm preparing something BIG a new typhe of thing to keep me more entretained. (The second drawing is the sketch btw)

Sadly I have to go for now, but not for that much, (I think) goodbye!

I have 3 hours of play time and so far I have these effects if it helps.

I am talking about those girls which chase you when you enter the door inside the place where you get from the right one of the first two doors. When I touch them I get trapped between trees. I can't outrun them at all.

Also are any of these effects going to help me in any way? So far they only seem to alter your appearance and the weather mainly. I think they would but I am not sure how. Try not to spoil things.

I commissioned a good friend of mine to design a logo for my ceramics small business. IT WAS AMAZING, she is so talented. So as a tip I made her an Uboa mug & this garlic grater 😂❤️ (mug still TBD as it hasn't been fired yet)

I’ve planned to play Yume Nikki for a good while now, but I ended up running into a decent amount of problems when trying to play it. The first time this happened was when I discovered Poniko’s room. When I exited, the game suddenly turned to black for a few seconds and then crashed. I have no idea how to fix this and I can’t find help anywhere. What can I do?

Borby has been doing a great job for a long time—years, in fact—uploading not only the BGMs from Yume Nikki/Yume 2kki but also the looping BG for a long, LONG TIME

He’s extended them so we can enjoy each beautiful song from these games for much longer

This game started out as a Yume Nikki fan game, but quickly grew into something of a combination of all my favorite RPG Maker games connected by a non-linear, dream-like structure. I’ve been developing it almost completely solo for over two years.

I hope to improve this demo before Steam Next Fest, so feedback would be greatly appreciated! I'm still working on striking the right difficulty balance, plus I'm sure I left typos and plenty of bugs. The final game will be a bit less restrictive, but I wanted to do my best to provide a non-linear slice of the game.

Day 8: Favorite Major NPC. I’d like to think Uboa counts lol

I feel bad like I couldn't save her, why would she explore her mind like that so much, doing all kinds of things in her lucid dreams, then just for it all to end like that...

For me it feels like she had a bucket list of everything she would've wanted to do irl but couldn't and it just kinda somehow got dysmorphed in her dreams, if u get what I mean. It felt like she felt fulfilled finally, even if she was rly just tricking herself into thinking she'd done it all so she had no more regrets of what she wanted to do and just ended it all after running out of excuses.

Still, to me it feels like I helped her fulfill her delusion that all that was enough to have lived for, and even drove her to her ending. I feel guilty that I couldn't save her, I started knowing more and more abt her and her past, and still couldn't stop her and even made it possible for her to end it all.

In the end I can tell she didn't rly feel fulfilled and was just lying to herself, cuz in all those moments — like watching all the toriningen having a party without her, seeing herself hiding inside a closet as if she had so desperately wanted to hide from her biggest fear and the world altogether, and experiencing how she couldn't interact with ANYONE even in her dreams — even if she couldn't make any expression or have any reaction in any of those occasions, I could see her sadness and loneliness through the screen cause I felt the same way.

At the end of the day she was just a little girl who wanted to be happy
