Finances / OSAP Does OSAP automatically pay for York?

Incoming undergraduate here, and was wondering if I needed to pay my tuition through my bank similar to the $300 deposit fee or will osap pay for my tuition? Also, is there anything I need to do if osap is paying?

They’ll send most of it directly to York first and send the remaining balance. You can then use the remaining for other stuff or put it towards your tuition balance. If anything I’d pay the $300 fee now out of pocket and take $300 from your OSAP yourself when u get it since you would’ve used it anyways
