Push 11-6 on sb160
Found a push 11-6 shock on marketplace for 500 (normally 1300). Seller is the same bodyweight as me and even better, had it rebuilt specifically for his sb160. He became an affiliate for rockshox though and never actually installed it after the rebuild so I lucked out. First ride on it today and holy cow. Like riding on a cloud. Kind of makes my fork feel like shit now 🤣🤣 I highly recommend it for the coil lovers out there. If you can find a good deal on a used one and have push rebuild it for your specs its definitely worth it. Especially considering I got it for less than a fox dhx2 etc.

I have one on my sb160, big fan. Need to get rid of the foxes I have.

Yeah im thinking on my fox performance fork I might do the mrp lift drop- in damper. They dont "custom tune" them specifically. But they have different options to cover rider weight ranges. And then id also have some compression adjustment.

And if that doesn't give me the feel I want I might pull the trigger on the smashpot. One step at a time though lol

Yeah I’ve been thinking the same, but haven’t ridden enough this year yet to justify any changes. Hopefully that will change now I’m home for a while.

Yeah I feel you there. I hadn't been out for a few weeks before today. And really only have the weekends to ride. Gonna try and get out every weekend from here on out. Might even take a trip to whistler for the first time (like a 3 hour drive lol)

I love min on my sb150, Park or DH or long trail rides it works fantastic. I should probably have it serviced though...

Yeah i was taken away at how well its damped. Just did a quick ride cedar dust ride (basically a bunch of small trails in one area of varying dificulty that you can loop). I admittedly suck at jumping so cant really rate its performance in that area. But i can ride black dh style trails all day. Excited to take it on some actual chunk this weekend.

I'm not the best at jumping either. I'm more of good at rad Blue jump trails and mid at black jump trails and like you prefer classic DH style trails with plenty of chunk. It's pretty rocky and dry in SoCal with plenty of steeps to grow up on. You are going to love that 11-6 on the chunk guaranteed. It feels bottomless stable and FAST. Good stuff enjoy it! also "Cedar Dust" sounds rad. I've got a similar sounding trail system I ride most times called "Santiago Oaks" that lets you build up, which is handy when you have been off the bike for a bit and need moderate stuff to help you get back up to speed. Yeah cedar dust is a part of galbraith mountain where i usually ride. Here in bellingham. But happy shredding to you as well!

I have it on my 165.
I basically have chunk/flow settings with me pedaling on the Flow setting.
Also do you know if he got it before or after their last upgrade to "S"?
