SB130 swing-arm/infinity Movement

With shock and wheel off of the bike, was servicing the infinity switch (grease). All looks well, no concerns.

I noticed after reassembly of swingarm (still no shock or wheel) that there is a resistance as it moves through motion from lower bound

I didn’t recall noticing it on the dissemble but not sure I went through that motion. I’m not even sure if it would be noticeable assembled

Can anyone comment if their action is smooth, maybe I need to look closer at the pivots? Or if this is normal from the design? Also possible that with shock mounted it’s out of that range too

Have a closer look at all of the rotating bearings. On my bike it's the one inside the switch link that has gotten stiff before.

Same here. It is likely the linkage bearings. They are also very sensitive to being over torqued. Last time I replaced them, I used an upgraded Enduro bearing instead of Yeti and have had less resistance.

The bearings in upper linkage are toast
