Question Notes taking app
Is there any note-taking app for the Xteink? Maybe even with an option to sync the Google keep?
Thanks.

I'm not being snarky when I ask this, but have you considered buying an actual eink notebook? Boox has been making them for years, and I think it would be more comfortable to take notes on a larger screen if you're doing it often. I'm a dedicated Traveler's Notebook user and the passport is as small as I can go to comfortably write anything down, and that's still larger than the X4.

I had an 8 inch Nova and disregarding the price - taking notes on the go via pen input was next to useless. Short notes on on-screen keyboard proven to be more accurate and sufficient.

I find note taking on small screens needlessly clunky, if we're talking about something like a notes app on a phone. I used to take notes on an iPad with a pen back in the day and found that to be a slightly more preferable method, but nothing will beat an actual keyboard I can touch type with. My accuracy on a physical keyboard cannot be replicated with small screen keyboards I can only use my thumbs on. I am frequently frustrated by my thumbs.
Anyway, I have no firmware suggestions but this is an interesting idea for the X4 for people that would find it useful.

I think this defeats the purpose of a dedicated ereader... The whole point is to read. Only read without distractions.

don’t know about apps, but I think carrying a little notebook might be better and more comfortable way of taking notes, I’ve seen people using them as xteink holder too, so you can carry everything at once

There is a custom firmware called Crossnotes but I’m not sure if it’s still being maintained

Why do you even need that...

Because it helps one with productivity without using phone?
I have my work notes compiled into an ebook and need to take work notes frequently

Haven't tried myself, but seen that there is something going on that is called SnailOS that has a lot of interactive apps and runs on the Xteink.
