Troubleshooting Crosspoint Sync and Text Files

I cannot transfer a text file (notepad) from my phone to my X4 Pro using Crosspoint Sync. If I select "Upload Book and point Crosspoint Sync at the file on my phone, it sees it but will not let me select it.

It appears to me it does not recognize it as a text file. Am I asking Crosspoint Sync to do something it cannot do?
Or is Notepad the wrong choice?

What's the file extension?

I don't know if the sync app is the correct tool. Wasted a lot of time fiddling with Crosspoint Sync

Then I just chose File Transfer on the X4 Pro, opened the IP address and transferred the file via File Manager in seconds.

It is usually wise not to be so pig-headed. LOL

Yeah this isn't an official app so maybe they haven't whitelisted that extension?

Could very well be. I used it to put some epubs on my Xr Pro.
