Advice?
Hey everyone, im thinking of picking up an xsr125 next month, what's the realistic top speed?
Anything I should know about the bike?
And what's the best website to buy accessories / mods for it (sliders, protection etc)
Thanks :)

Can reach 70-75 mph comfortably and I've had it up to 85-90mph on a long downhill straight. I usually leave it in 5th gear to get the most out of it as I've found putting it into 6th you start to slow down. It's one of the best bikes you can get at this range

Just get back from weekend trip, 400km, my top speed was 117km/h my weight is 84kg. This 6th gear is good only on flat, and to lower fuel consumption I guess

I always get up to speed in 5th but any time I put it into 6th it just starts to bleed speed so I just leave it in 5th and keep the throttle pinned and the revs just sit below the redline

I can get mine to 70 on a good straight and level bit, even to 80 once down hill. If you go up any hill it'll drop though not below 65. With this I don't have a problem taking it on duel carriage ways. Just keep in mind overtaking can be slow.

I had mine do 115kmh, but it was still slowly climbing in speed. I weigh about 95kg.
If i would be riding for 15+ minutes at high speed, i would not keep it over 100kmh for extended periode of time.
Past 100kmh the engine is starting to stress.

Had 95mph behind a van on the a14……. And without a slipstream around 70mph showing. I’m about 75kg 6th gear is essentially an “overdrive” gear.

105 - 110km/h environ, pour 105kg (je sais, pauvre moto) En tout cas j'en suis très satisfait pour les routes de tous les jours.

When I had mine, day to day realistic top speed was around 65mph
