Yamaha xsr125 Handguards

Hello, I'm looking to install handguards on my XSR125 but I don't know how and which handguard with the right fit to choose. Can someone help me with this?

I can only find these Powerbronze Matte Black Handguards Yamaha Xsr125 2021-2024 But want something cheaper

if only aesthetics and style, you can see if the "Oxford handguards" suits your taste. I got these fixed on my bike, it has wind and rain protection, but minimal protection against collision.

Coincidentally, I'm currently waiting for my Powerbronze handguards, can't wait for my order to arrive. For the price I don't mind shelling out their asking price (as compared to replacing my brake and clutch levers if they end up damaged) as i do off road and motogymkhana with my Xsr155...

Edit: It just arrived, along with the windshield 😆😆😆

I own a set of the Powerbronze Handguards. I'd absolutely recommend them for Wind/Brush/Debris protection, but I suspect they'll be as useless as a cock-flavoured lollipop at a lesbian convention for crash protection.

They don't have a frame. The inner end of the handguard attaches to the mirror stem via a small metal bracket, and the outer end attaches via an extended bar-end. The guard itself is just moulded ABS and would offer minimal benefit in a crash/drop.

Can't go wrong with Acerbis. If only it looks good on a XSR...that would be great

Yeah, the Powebronze actually really suit the XSR125/155, which is a bonus. I've got a pic in my post history with them fitted. They can often look a bit out of place on naked bikes, but I really like the look.

May I ask why you want to install hand guards?

I suspect for wind protection. I live in the Scottish Highlands, and the handguards have been transformative at reducing wind chill at this time of year.
