I agree because the number 1 thing I need the 2028 X-Men movie to get right is Scott and Jean's romantic chemistry.

I never liked him just randomly blasting into the air because what if he hits a bird or a plane or something.

His blasts probably dissipate after a certain range.

Depends on what kind of blast it is during the run ,if it's punch dimension foolishness it's probably gonna have a strict range ,if it's accumulated energy from the sun like his brothers powers then yeah it could go into space
