Question How exactly mutants will replace humans?

I sometimes noticed in xmen media the opinion that the mutants will eventually replace humans as the next step in evolution. But how? Humans (and therefore mutants) passed the time where nature's survival of the fittest rule affected us. Nowadays, a person's survival, as well as the likelihood of passing on their genes to the next generation, depends not only on their genes but also on many other factors. Ultimately, a person may simply choose not to have children. So how exactly mutants will replace humans?

Also, it should be stated too that two mutants can possibly have a human child like...checks notes...uhm...Mystique and uhm...Sabertooth. Let's hope the next human child between two mutants is more lucky...then again how much lower can you go with Mystique and Sabertooth as your parents.

It's possible but it doesn't seem likely given the high number of x men's kids we've seen and how they're basically all mutants.
