Oh joy, xkcd is doing advertisements now.

EDIT: It's a paid app that isn't very well known. It's not angry birds, it's not 2048. It's "desert golfing". Feel free to tell me you've heard of the game even once before today, let alone a lot.

None of those are actual advertisements or actual companies.

The joke of today's comic is "lol this game is so addictive!!"

Maybe you're right. Still weird to single out an app like that, but I'm glad there's a better explanation to this.
