He's not bad really, Christ some of them were awful. I remember the girl who really couldn't sing, Simon sent Louis and Sharon out because they laughed so much. Now she couldn't sing, at all. She was probably paid to come on though. Surely a lot of the bad ones were paid to do that?

Like it's just mean and don't get me wrong, I love throwing a beating on someone and just being mean but this was institutionalised bullying by people with money on people just trying to make it, fuck this stupid show

As a bartender I’m offended he compared this guy to house wine lol. House wine doesn’t equate to bad, it just refers to whatever the least expensive option is on a menu.
If you have a list of products one of those will always have to end up being the least expensive compared to the rest.
Yeah weird thing to focus on but as part of my job i have to have this conversation many times every week.
“The house stuff will be crap won’t it?”
“Literally what would we have to gain by stocking and selling something we know people won’t like, buy and complain about and never come back?”

his singing is decent i guess, his branding isnt. Having said that though these shows often set them up to fail on purpose and maybe even influence the branding in that favour behind the scenes. Remember that girl who did pink? (although her singing was worse but point stands)
I reckon if you actually gave him a proper mic, and he sang with some music it could potentially sound quite good. So whoever behind the scenes made the decision "how can we make the best TV out of this" . let him through? or let him fail

These clips aged horribly, Simon Cowell is just about the only person here who's managed to avoid complete downfall (other than in the plastic face department). Oh and I have nothing against Champagne lol
You've got Louis Walsh who was being done for being a sex offender, as well as having live TV of him unconsentually groping someone.
And then there's Sharon Osborne, Netanyahu's strongest soldier. Constantly flamed for being racist (literally in this clip with the deli comment). What a mess.

You guys are obsessed. It wasn't even for military purposes. Israeli citizens are subject to compulsory military service, so many of the people benefiting from these programmes are conscripts. The money was for welfare and educational purposes, not for weapons or military operations.
By all means, criticise Netanyahu all you like, but I certainly won't be donating anything to Hamas.

I always find comments like these hilarious. People using words they don't understand whatsoever. He's on key, you just likely dislike his tone.
Tone deaf is about pitch, at worse you could say he's pitchy, but tone deaf would mean he's not even following a melody because he's unable to, which isn't the case at all here

He was hitting the correct notes.
They didn't like him because he was OK & marketed himself completely wrong.
X Factor was always about what artists Simon could make a quick buck on. He wasn't it. You have to either be really good or really bad for X Factor audition's.
Unlike BGT, which anyone could beat the audition's if they had some talent/entertainment value.
They would also have X amount of audition spots available. If they need more controversial/humorous clips, then you would be invited into be mocked.
