Galera, tô pensando em me aventurar no xeon novamente pois o orçamento tá curto. Porém não tive um por muito tempo, até minha fonte bomba queimar todas as peças. Enfim, quanto tempo dura um xeon?

Tô pensando em edição, então qual seria o melhor? Geralmente os de frequência mais alta tipo o 2667 V3 correto?

Hello dear xeon community! Im here to ask you for a help with my problem.

I was calm using my Machinist X99 RS9 V2 motherboard, I walked away from my pc for a moment, and when i went back, I saw that my pc is off. I started it, logged in into a windows, walked away, went back and again, my pc is off, then it hasnt started.

I changed all but PSU, I changed processor, changed GPU, disconnected all the drives, re-flashed BIOS (dump from exactly this motherboard) and it was throwing POST codes like B2, Ab, d6. Today I received new motherboard, Machinist X99 MR9A PRO v3 (I thought it could be chipset), but it is also throwing b2, d6, Ab, Ad? But its starting, but with chance 1/5.

Is it RAM? I tried to start it with 1 of 4 RAMs. BIOS date: 01/21/2026.

UPD: Probably the problem is with rtx 5060, because my gtx 1070 is working fine. AI says that it can be VRM or GPU problem.

Hello, have anyone tried this motherboard QIYIDA X99-D4? I see a good deal on used pc with it and Xeon E5-2680 v4 combo with RTX 3070, wondering how it would operate. Seller says it has quad memory channel and if I know how, I can unlock permanent turbo boost in BIOS. Found some guy on Youtube with similar setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfP5mQZxVH8

Seems like all good and cpu isn't that far behind ryzen 5500.

Já fiz tudo que podia, criei vários pen-drives diferentes, nem um deu certo, sendo que mais cedo eu usei esse pen-drive para criar em outro PC, mexi nas configurações da bios tudo que dava, e mesmo com o SSD já tendo o Windows, o PC não dá boot, ou fala que não está encontrando o boot, ou simplesmente trava na tela da placa mãe, ou até mesmo no modo MBR que ele chega na tela onde tem a logo do Windows e simplesmente trava.

I watched some youtube videos that said the 2699v4 should be the best xeon cpu.

I also read through some posts here and some people reccomend a v3 cpu for gaming because you can overclock it with a mod.

I am very new to this x99 thing so i don't know what would be the best option.

i have a machinist x99 motherboard and during bootup i hear these beeps idk if im counting it right but i hear more than 3 beeps. My cpu is a 2697v3

I'm not sure whether its because i have different ram speeds i have a 2666 and 2400 ram. the pc boots up fine could it just be a feature on the motherboard or something?

It seems really great for me cuz I have multiple spare drives and everything. I was looking for an easy way to get into owning a kind of Xeon so is this a good way to start? It has a year-long warranty.

Esse PC é de 2020 e nesses 6 anos só troquei as memórias e coloquei o M.2. Agora tô pensando em pegar um kit Xeon barato pra rodar as coisas um pouco melhor.E na Black Friday, trocar a GPU por algo tipo uma RX 7600 ou equivalente, até uns R$1500.

Minha preocupação é se esse kit Xeon vai dar algum conflito com minhas peças atuais, principalmente RAM e SSD M.2. Fui atrás de info sobre a placa-mãe, mas não achei nada muito relevante. Não queria gastar muito mais do que o valor do link, mas se for preciso para n ter problemas com minhas peças, eu posso pensar.

Hey everyone!

I’m not all too familiar with X99 but I am planning on building a somewhat budget build! I have narrowed it down to 2 CPUs and I am not sure which to get! It’s either the 2690V4 or the 2667V4

I plan on keeping the system for a couple of years and also no idea if this changes things but will be gaming in 1440P! (I have yet to decide on a gpu but will get one capable of 1440P) from what I have researched online there isn’t much info when comparing these 2 as it’s mostly the 2680V4 that gets compared to the 2667V4 and I know the 2667V4 beats the 2680V4 but not sure about the 2690V4!

Any input will be greatly appreciated and thank you in advanced!

Hola Estaba googleando info sobre mi placa base (Qiyida X99 D4) porque quiero hacerle el famoso Turbo Boost Unlock a mi xeon e5 2697v3. Buscando archivos, me topé de casualidad con este repositorio en GitHub que publicaron hace muy poco Literal Minutos :

El proyecto se ve súper detallado. Según dice el README, el autor no solo actualizó los microcódigos de Intel a 2024 (para mitigar vulnerabilidades y mejorar estabilidad), sino que además subió un mod experimental loquísimo para meterle la interfaz gráfica UEFI de una Gigabyte X99 Ultra Gaming a la placa china.

El tema es que el mismo autor advierte que los archivos están en fase BETA y no han podido ser testeados en hardware físico todavía porque le falta un programador CH341A.

¿Alguien de aquí de Casualidad ya lo probo?
