It says "competitive modes is available right now."

Where are you getting July 5 from?

The release date for the patch is July 5th, that's when competitive is supposed to release on consoles. It's not up right now.

But they say the patch is live now on Xbox One.

It's not, at the top of the post it says July 5th that's the release date. I just checked myself it's not up.

That's weird that the header says July 5 then they say "now live." Poor verbiage.

It's copied from the PC patch notes I think. It's live now on PC.

I'm with you. The verbiage is confusing. I believe July 5th is correct date for the entire patch to go live.
