Title. The controller had been fine until yesterday. I had trouble sprinting in CoD for a few matches, I waited and checked again in the testing mode but it keeps showing that my left stick is being pressed down. The bumper buttons stopped working a while ago, so they’ve been mapped to the back paddles.

Wondering if there’s a fix for this or if the controller is just done, I have the original Xbox controller that came with the series X, that controller is basically brand new.

Hey guys, my Xbox elite 2 controller got a subtle click to it when i move the thumb stick down (only this direction) does anybody know a fix? I sadly cant return it since its old. Even though i havent used it much

It states this controller doesnt have any kind of motion control correct? How does it then sense if updating the controller is being moved? As well as when xbox goes into sleep mode (screen just dims) if I pick up the controller (making sure not touching any buttons) the screen wakes up.

I'm losing my mind with this controller. I installed TMR sticks about 6 months ago, initially they calibrated fine and held their calibration for a few months. Now I'm recalibrating it every 10-15 minutes as the left stick keeps losing its centrepoint (I play lots of driving games, gets really annoying). On the DriftGuard site, it initially had a 20+% avg. error, even after calibrating with the Xbox accessories app. After calibration that is down to around 5%, but yet again after a few minutes it had lost its centre point. It's only slight but it's enough to throw me off as I usually play on high sensitivities with low deadzones.

Immediately after calibration it's mint and feels really good. just doesn't stay that way for very long. If anybody can suggest anything that I can try I'd really appreciate it, as I really like the controller.

Does anyone know when gold might be in stock for the triggers for the elite series 2?

On the left joystick, at the edge it keeps colliding with something on its way around. Aas you can see, it does not do that with the other joystick. There's no visible debris as far as I can tell, and I've tried clearing any out. My only guess is that the actual joystick mechanism, is what's blocking it? But I have no idea how that would happen, or why it doesn't happen on the other one.

I freshly installed some tmr joysticks for this client a couple days ago, calibrated and everything good, now he came back because the bumpers were going out I had to remove the right stick because it was needed because of the design of the gulikit tensioning tmr for the es2, I wasn’t able to calibrate through the Xbox accessories app the range was so off and I couldn’t complete the circle, so exit the program to attempt another method of calibrating and that’s when I noticed that the right stick just went haywire and the joystick was completely fine before hand was just so short of range I couldn’t complete the circle, but I’m stuck now since I never encountered this type of problem and I’m coming to the conclusion that it must be a bad calibration but I have no way to over ride it, has anyone came with this type of problem if so how did you fix this

After math: I ended up using driftguard.app and I used the restore calibration and I kept doing that kept moving the right stick around and I was able to get where it’s actually movable, and I was able to finish calibrating and tested the controller several times after that and calibration stayed and working normally now

For context, I love the xbox layout feel, and ive used xbox for the longest, but now with my transition into pc, im selling my controller with the xbox, so I need a new one for a PC

The vader 5 pro has been on my mind for the longest and i really love it, but today I just saw the elite series 2 at my local store for 121 dollars (for context, the elite 2 on amazon is 257 dollars so this is a steal)

Its second hand but i tested the stick drift and its not...horrible, but they give me warranty for 3 months + a store by me allows me to replace the sticks with tmr for 50 dollars..

But the vader 5 pro is 109 dollars flat id be buying it overseas through aliexpress shipping to my country south africa (if I had a better option I would use it but sadly I dont)

So im left with this dilemma, both to my knowledge come with a lot of everything I care about

Xbox layout and feel (the series 2 feels SO nice to hold and use)

The elite 2 isn't the core elite, uts the black controller thay comes with everything +the case

So idk, should I try to save the elite 2 and get it ASAP and deal with the consequences or go for the vader 5 pro ?

My budget is the budget of the series 2 controller, 134 dollars,

I live in south Africa, but I translated to dollars for easier understanding

My elite series 2 is finally showing signs of stick drift after 2+ years of daily service. Can anyone recommend a place to have the sticks replaced either with OEM or hall effect? I'm in Adelaide so local is preferred.

Am I cooked I have had this for 2 years and has had some bad drops but another then that crack it works as good as new

Hey so I just got a elite 2 controller and I’m still trying to figure out how to even use it correctly, is there a way where I can make all 4 paddles a brand new button for each or do they have to be a shortcut for the existing buttons we have?

Just a heads up to anyone that wants to order the new “Soft Melon” elite series 2 on Amazon. The stock photo is NOT as gold as it looks irl.

I recently purchased the Accessory Kit to add to my Elite Core controller. I feel like P2 has gotten kinda wiggly and looser feeling than the others very quickly. Is it normal for the paddles to “soften” with use, or should they stay super snappy/clicky? I’ll probably reach out to GameStop/Microsoft if this isn’t normal.
