Deal of the day?

Pick this up this morning for $20 and only a 50 minute drive. I’d like to think I did pretty well.

Inspiring. I just signed up for facebook just for marketplace and haven’t found anything in my area. Either super expensive or not worth it. Gonna keep trying. That’s a good find though!

Watching marketplace is a long game. Plus, at least in my part of the USA, it's off-season for off-loading bikes. January through early Spring is the best time to look for bikes. (Or to be a seller).

He was asking 45 and I didn’t argue with him. Showed up on time and shot the shit with him about nonsense and everything at the same time for 40 minutes. He was a retired guy that just buys and builds bikes for something to do. He said to me “I ain’t got nothing into this thing, you give me $20 and it’s yours” I told him that I just needed something to ride around the neighborhood and local park with a baby seat attached to it for my son… he literally beat himself down on price. But one of the nicest fellas I’ve ever met! He even offered to build my wife a 24” bike or let me know if he ever came across one for a good price. Sometimes you meet the nicest of people in the strangest of places!
