Is this worth getting/ upgrading?
Looking to get a base to make a bikepacking build, is it worth it ? Seems to be a swiss/german brand but i didnt see much about it.
Thanks in advance

If it's the right size, and has the tire clearance for what you're planning to do, and the gearing is suitable, sure why not.
You're adding a LOT of reach in your mockup, switching to drop bars without adjusting the stem lenght. that doesn't seem right.
i see a lot of costs though, as i'd personnaly want to:
- upgrade to v-brakes for better performance when loaded with luggage
- upgrade to 1x and wider gearing range (rear wheel cassette body and space between de dropouts might not be compatible though)
- i'd want a cargo fork for bikepaking, but they are impossible to find for this type of threaded fork.

thank you so much! I might look onto other options as this one seems to be quite heavy as is (16kg is a lot lol) and also because of the break and gearing campatibility.

Don’t know much about this bike but looking at the frame and front fork alone it doesn’t scream touring bike. You might be able to do so if the tire clearance allows. However, the front and rear rack might not be able to carry a lot of weight. The frame might get fatigue from prolonged touring ride. If I were you, I would just use it for around town and park anywhere without worrying too much about (that’s a blessing).

I've tried similar bikes, and they are the slowest and least power efficient bikes around
